Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1, developed and published by Alawar Casual, is a compilation designed to deliver maximum value to fans of hidden object and casual adventure games. It collects four full-length titles—Stray Souls: A Dollhouse Story, House of 1,000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster, Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers, and Eternal Journey: New Atlantis—into one accessible package. Each game has its own narrative tone and setting, ensuring that the collection doesn’t feel like a repetitive assortment of the same formula, but rather a tour through the most defining traits of the genre: mystery, atmosphere, and a balance of storytelling and puzzle-solving. While all four titles share the same core gameplay of exploring scenes and uncovering cleverly hidden objects, the variations in theme—from gothic horror to spiritual fantasy to sci-fi adventure—give the bundle an appealing sense of variety that extends its longevity and appeal. The first title, Stray Souls: A Dollhouse Story, opens the collection on a dark and emotional note. It tells the story of a woman searching for her missing husband, leading her into a cursed town filled with haunting imagery, eerie dolls, and supernatural presences. The atmosphere is rich and unsettling, using muted color palettes, haunting music, and evocative background art to immerse the player in its tragic tale. The hidden object scenes are well-composed, featuring detailed artwork that rewards careful observation, while the puzzles complement the exploration without becoming overly difficult or tedious. This title sets the tone for the collection as a whole—it is story-driven, visually detailed, and designed to be engaging without demanding too much from the player, making it ideal for casual gamers looking for something immersive yet approachable. House of 1,000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster continues the mysterious momentum with a more spiritual and exotic theme. Players step into the role of a writer who must travel through portals to different parts of the world, encountering ghosts, curses, and ancient relics. This installment leans more heavily into narrative and world-building, blending hidden object gameplay with light adventure elements such as puzzle-solving and item combination. Each environment—from the mystical temples of Tibet to the desolate ruins of Jerusalem—is meticulously illustrated, making exploration a pleasure in itself. The voice acting and soundtrack add a sense of cinematic quality, elevating the experience above many games in the genre. While the gameplay remains familiar, the story’s scope and imaginative setting make it one of the more memorable entries in the bundle. Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers shifts back into a gothic atmosphere reminiscent of classic literature, weaving a tale of love, loss, and the supernatural. You play as Ethan, a man whose fiancée has been kidnapped by faceless entities, forcing him to journey through cursed towns and eerie manors to uncover the truth. The emotional weight of the story and the consistently high-quality artwork make this one of the standout titles in the set. Its hidden object scenes are tighter and more inventive, occasionally blending object searches with environmental puzzles. The pacing is excellent—never too fast or slow—and the gradual revelation of the game’s mystery keeps players invested. Though it follows familiar tropes of the genre, it executes them with enough polish and atmosphere to feel satisfying rather than derivative. Eternal Journey: New Atlantis concludes the bundle with a surprising change in tone, taking the player into a futuristic sci-fi setting while maintaining the core mechanics of hidden object discovery. This title follows an archaeologist uncovering the secrets of Atlantis before transitioning to a story set in outer space, making it one of the most conceptually ambitious games in the collection. The juxtaposition of ancient history and futuristic technology gives it a unique visual flair compared to the more traditionally gothic settings of the other entries. The puzzles are a little more complex here, involving mechanical interactions and spatial reasoning rather than simple item collection. Despite the genre shift, the transition works, demonstrating that the hidden object formula can adapt to different narratives and still feel cohesive. The strong atmosphere and imaginative environments make it a fitting finale to the compilation. Taken together, Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1 represents a curated showcase of what made Alawar Casual a staple name in the genre. Each game shares the studio’s hallmark design traits—clear object placement, intuitive puzzle progression, and smooth pacing—ensuring accessibility without sacrificing engagement. The art direction across all four titles is consistently high quality, relying on beautifully painted backgrounds and ambient effects that keep each setting immersive. While none of the games push the boundaries of the genre mechanically, the combined collection offers a wide range of themes and moods that keep it from growing monotonous. It is a comfortable, familiar experience for players who enjoy methodical exploration, gentle challenge, and richly illustrated worlds. The bundle’s main appeal lies in its value and accessibility. For a low price, it provides hours of content across four distinct stories, making it an excellent entry point for newcomers to the hidden object genre or a convenient compilation for longtime fans. However, it also bears the genre’s limitations: linear storytelling, relatively low replay value once puzzles are solved, and predictable pacing that prioritizes relaxation over challenge. Yet these qualities are also part of its charm. The absence of time limits or complex systems allows for an experience that is soothing rather than stressful—a chance to engage with stories at a slow, reflective pace. The result is a compilation that captures the enduring appeal of hidden object games: immersive worlds, gentle puzzles, and a sense of quiet discovery. In the end, Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1 is not about innovation but about comfort and consistency. It offers four polished, atmospheric adventures that exemplify the genre’s best qualities without overcomplicating the formula. Players who approach it with the right expectations—seeking mood, story, and simple yet rewarding gameplay—will find a great deal to enjoy. Alawar Casual’s attention to pacing, art direction, and thematic diversity makes this collection a pleasant, worthwhile addition to any casual gamer’s library. It’s a gentle reminder that games don’t always need spectacle or innovation to be engaging—sometimes, all they need is a good mystery, a haunting setting, and the quiet satisfaction of finding what was hidden. Pretty solid pack of games! Two really good ones, one okay one, and one overrated one imo. There are two story styles to the games here, the two on the top (House Of 1000 Doors and Eternal Journey) have voice acting and longer cutscenes, and the two on the bottom (Dark Strokes and Stray Souls) are more text based and keep the cutscenes a little more simple. Both of these two groups have one really good game, and one game that's not on the same level. Let's start with the group on the top first. House Of 1000 Doors and Eternal Journey. "House Of 1000 Doors" is the overrated game in this pack, most reviews say it's the best one but I thought it was the worst. I found the cutscenes (outside of the one where we crash our car) to be boring and uninteresting, and the game's gimmick of having four separate worlds to visit felt less like a fun idea and more like they had 4 unrelated Hidden Object games lying around and threw them together to me. Each world tells a very similar story and by the time you've visited the first world, you already know what you're going to need to do at the end of the game. The gameplay was fine but all the swapping between worlds left me confused many times at what I needed to do, and the game's final cutscene felt rushed and unsatisfying. Don't understand the love for this one However, everything "House Of 1000 Doors" gets wrong, "Eternal Journey" gets right imo. Engaging story (I was not expecting the twist near the end at all!), a better map that even tells you if you missed a secret item in a location, more interesting environments, and more fun everywhere! My one gripe with the game is that taking the train back and forth is tedious and slows down the pace quite a bit sometimes, but if that wasn't there I don't believe I'd have any outstanding issues with the game. Very good one, certainly recommend it. Now lets go to the bottom group, Dark Strokes and Stray Souls. "Dark Strokes" had to potential to be really good, but falters at too many points to be anything more than "okay" imo. This game has many technical issues that are annoying to work around: while playing in fullscreen (the best way to play these games imo, as it gives you the most room to see objects) one of the game's first puzzles will not work and multiple areas that I found myself passing through often would freeze the game every time and force me to use my windows button to escape fullscreen and get back into the game. That is easily the biggest problem with any of these games and it's made worse by the fact that the game could be very confusing at times for me which led to a ton of backtracking and frustration. Outside of technical issues and the amount of confusion I found while playing it, the game was alright. I like it more than "House Of 1000 Doors" because I found the story to be more engaging, and I liked the setting a lot more than visiting the random worlds of "House Of 1000 Doors", but the game could've been a lot better. "Stray Souls" is exactly what "Dark Strokes" should've been. No technical issues, easy to figure out what you need to do next, the story's better, the visuals are very interesting and fun look at (the cutscenes change styles and it's a great touch imo), and it really feels like there was a lot of heart put into the game! I played this one as a kid and re-remembering what I needed to do (to get to the ending I still remembered over a decade later) made for a fun time that even my friends enjoyed. Along with "Eternal Journey", "Stray Souls" is a highlight of the pack and certainly one to remember. As a whole I certainly recommend this pack to people who want some quality Hidden Object adventures! I do so on the back of how good "Stray Souls" and "Eternal Journey" are, but if you end up loving the other games included as well you'll absolutely get your money's worth.

Let's see First two games (1000 doors and eternal journey) they're good, probably 1000 doors being the best one of the whole bundle but eternal journey isnt bad at all, highly recommending both ; artstyle is pretty, cgi animations are good and got a distinctive charm, puzzles makes sense and the plot of both games is intriguing. Now, the last two games (Sins of the fathers and dollhouse) well, they arent bad games per se, but they're a heavy downgrade in quality in every sense from the first two games ; artstyle looks way 'cheaper' now, the animations leave a lot to be desired, puzzles and hidden object sections become counter intuitive , in the first two games the puzzles made sense and you were able to follow them easily but in the last two games they seem to be pretty random . Mind you, I am making this review while having no clue in which order the 4 games were originally released, and probably I'm criticizing the games that came *before* the ones im praising, regardless, I think the bundle is very worth the price, my nunaces aside these are stiill 4 great point and click games, so yeah go for it!
