It was either this one or the previous one that was the super heroic one. Can't remember which. I should probably rewatch the anime some time soon. Anyway... worth it.

This chapter started off very strong, then turned quite boring for a while, at some point I actually got scared that the title "massacre chapter" was a joke (even despite knowing how quickly the author can turn the plot lmao). But towards the end everything turned insane on a whole new level (sometimes it genuinely felt more like Umineko than Higurashi lol) and afterwards I was left absolutely speechless. I love this series, it's genius. I DON'T WANT IT TO END. Also I always knew that Takano is peak

This is the chapter where the writer pulls the blanket and unveils all the mistery. Too sad that at this part the horror is practically nonexistent and all that needs to be told is the end of the story.
