It'd be really easy to write this game off as gooner bait. Sure, you have to pay for the 18+ DLC that would take away the plausible deniability of the thing, and at its core, it's not trying to capture the same market as the most shameless and pornographic offerings put up for sale on Steam in the wake of Valve's relaxation on adult content rules. But it's a lot more than its first impression. I don't want to make it seem like this game is a flawless masterpiece that must be as universally beloved and enjoyed as the behemoths of the VN industry. What I do want to say is that this particular VN has sincerely captured my attention and ignited my creative spark. It's not a perfect package; some of the references might strike readers as cringe, although I love them for that hint of vulnerability they impart. Who among us hasn't made a dated joke we immediately wish we could claw back? The voice acting on a few characters makes it very obvious that certain performers were not in professional studios when they recorded their lines. Some of the dates can feel like a minefield to navigate, and for the more reserved and conservative, all of this free love might feel a little too promiscuous. The thing is, none of that makes a real difference when it comes to my adoration of this game. I went in hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but I was honestly blown away. I can't guarantee anyone else will have my experience, that the suspension of disbelief will guide them through save reloads and feminine woes. There's some kind of secret sauce; it might be the the charming vulnerability, the knowledge that this could only come from a small collective of dedicated hobbyists who cherish the medium, or maybe it simply hitting me at the right time. But if you've got an open heart and an open mind, you might just be surprised. It might seem like for a positive review, I pointed out a lot of criticisms. The thing is, all those pale in comparison to how much I enjoyed this experience. I bring them up because despite how much I'm going in for this game, I'm not a blind devotee, although assuredly devoted. It stuck with me, it made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me tear up, and it made me love a bunch of cartoon women and one cartoon man, something I admittedly have a lot of experience doing. Don't pass it up if it catches your eye.

If you played Crush Crush, you'll recognize these characters and their voices - but Hush Hush makes your choices actually matter. You can save-scum if you want; the game gives you plenty of save slots (or "save… sluts", ha-ha). The story is long, the writing is strong, and the characters are charmingly cute in true visual-novel fashion. There are lots of meaningful choices, plenty of humor, and each character feels distinct. I think I got a happy ending, and I'll probably replay to get the ultimate ending. The 18+ DLC adds spice. I bought it and don't regret it. Overall: a well-written, choice-driven visual novel with great characters and humour. If you like dating sims with depth and maybe a spicy DLC, this one's a winner. 10/10 would cum again.

I wrote a whole long review about this game, and then I had to stop because there's not much that I can say without spoilers. I will acknowledge that you aren't playing the full game without the 18+ DLC, so the price is kind of a lie. And if you add in the Peanut DLC, it's a much more expensive game than you see when you are shopping on Steam. I'll also say if you haven't played Crush Crush (the free idle game) you should do that first, to really appreciate the characters. Is it worth it? Hell yes. It's a hentai choose your own adventure story with DRASTIC consequences if you don't pay attention. You will need patience, and you will need to take advantage of your save files. The game will give you the same advice I just gave you, despite that I didn't take the advice seriously. Even though I got to a happy ending, I realized how linear my endgame was because of what I didn't do much earlier on in the game. Whether or not you like each individual girl, you can't beat the game without all of them. And it will make sense if you play the story. It's a really good story. I do wish the devs didn't have to spend so much of the early game basically telling you the endgame is worth the trouble. But I loved my ending, and now I want to replay it to see other options.

Actually my first Dating sim so I cant compare it with others, BUT... I can give feedback as a casual so listen, spoilerfree: Music: atmospheric and really high quality (actually got the Soundtrack) Art: Artstyle and animations are not fully constant but it improves over the game and gives this charm of playing a game where the creator learned in the process of making, i like it alot Voiceacting: amazing, 10/10, it hit just all the spots so u really felled talked to... and gave me chills at the meaningful parts of the story(actually the reason i tried to skip really fast through Iros Storyend at the replay cause.. bro thats just to much feeling for the crybaby i am) 'Sidenote' sometimes the Voices are audioqualitywhise mest up, maybe just a bug at my game, or a lil mistake in the files, just wanted to mention Story: Where do I start and how do I spoiler nothing... LetΒ΄s say the Triggerwarning at the start is more then justified. The in the start lighthearted sommerfeeling takes some very seriouse, dark and heavy turns, that leaves u at somepoint really forgetting that u play a game that has so much of Crush Crush goofy charm. Characters: If u played Crush Crush u already know the characters, but it gives so much more to them to interact with them in this kind of way... They get so much more personality... And they are not just querky and funny lovebirds... they have there own problems, struggles and trauma... seriouse trauma... which makes u 'fall in love with them' not cause edgy, flirty lines and saucy sequences, but cause u care for their personality and just want to make there lives better, make them happy I can only recommend this game, its so much fun and just gives u that feeling of watching an anime and beeing some kind of part of it... it just hits the right feels and for the small studio that Sad Panda seems to be this is insanely good, cant wait to see more from them ----------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Stuff: Just some stuff i want to get of the chest, mostly for the studio or people who need to hear things like this , i try keep it as spoilerfree as possible... The Game was just.. great... I started for the funny joke-ish style i knew from Crush Crush and went on a ride of emotions... maybe this is just me but it was so.. sooooo much for me that hit just right... I could just relate to so many of the girls... I grew up in an area where my life could have become alot like cassies and actually went in this directions for a while, ontop of that i can relate to her sad backstory very well since a similar thing happened to me to, even tho the person was not THAT close, but still very close... Iro hit me.. in an other way... I once had a partner with a fate that was as close as it can get to hers and lets say it hits even harder when u know how a situation like this is if u know it first hand... Mio on the other hand spoke straight from my personal inside... her whole 'I open up to u about the things inside me I dont really want to talk about even with myself'-Part felt more like I was at therapy and got a Mirrow hold up infront of me... THX Sad Panda Studios, this Game was great and now I am sitting here with this feeling that u have when u finish a series that became one of ur favourites and now its just over To All u out there that struggle with stuff, hang in there, u got this.. It's always dark on the horizon, if you only look up during storms, but every storm gets over... and behind there is always a bright blue or a nightsky full of stars <3
