Really well made puzzle game, complexity of levels increases over time with addition of new different mechanic. I'd have loved if they had implemented some kind of hint option or something similar in later stages as I was losing my mind trying different possibilities which literally requires brute force. Except that, it's really fun puzzle game

Inbento is an adorable, well-made spatial puzzle game about a mama cat learning to craft bento boxes for her orange son. It's cute, it's wholesome, and it'll make you question your intelligence. Gameplay Controls. Fully playable with mouse, controller, or Deck. Puzzles. There are 126 puzzles (plus a hidden level) across 14 "Worlds," and gameplay is straightforward: each puzzle has a bento box, a goal, and a handful of tools and ingredients that must be used to accomplish that goal. As you progress through the worlds, you unlock cute snippets of story and new mechanics like swapping and rotating tiles, copying/pasting, filling in large areas, etc. Playtime. It took me ~7 hours to 100%, largely playing in 5-10 minute bursts. It also took ten months. What Worked For Me ✅ Adorable cats. ✅ Adorable minimalist design. ✅ Tricky puzzles. ✅ Optional windowed mode. What Didn't Work For Me ❎ Uneven difficulty spikes. Final Thoughts Here's the thing: The first six or so "Worlds" feel like a breeze, but then it starts getting challenging. Really challenging. I went from being impressed with myself to keenly aware that there's no built-in hint or help function. I'd get stuck on a puzzle, work and rework it a dozen times without getting any closer to a solution, and close the game for a few weeks to let it percolate in my subconscious or whatever. I rather liked the constant loop of pick up, put down, pick up a month later -- but then World 12 happened. Compared to everything before and after, World 12 felt like I'd stumbled into a cage fight against the Hulk. I don't know why my brain could not process those particular puzzles, but it was the only time I felt frustrated enough to consider uninstalling the game. Everything else is pitch-perfect, though: the art, the minimal story, every other puzzle, it's all fantastic, and there's nothing quite like the dopamine rush of solving a difficult level. The only things this game is missing are a "Skip World 12" button and some kind of hint system. Recommendation I recommend Inbento if you enjoy spatial puzzles and a good challenge; no matter what you pay for it, you're going to get your money's worth. Plus cute cats! If you're easily discouraged or feel frustrated, anxious, or depressed when you can't figure something out, then this probably isn't a good fit for you. 😺 A Purrfect Puzzle Game! 😺| 100% Review This was surprisingly fun! The story of a mother lovingly cooking for her kitten is heartwarming and adorable. The puzzles are cleverly designed, with mechanics that evolve as you progress. New "blocks" are introduced later, keeping things fresh and challenging while remaining fair—not overly difficult. Sometimes a girl just needs a chill game to vibe to and this hits all the right spots!! Cute music, cute art, cute story and cute little puzzles to complete whilst assembling bento boxes *om nom nom* And cats!! Did I mention there are cats?! ‘Nuff said ^.^
