Hop aboard your trusty mech and smash those enemies flat. Decent gameplay with TPS and TD elements. Call for new drop with heavy equipment and place it on battlefield. Various type of towers including assault towers, generators and other useful stuff. Strategy is as important as shooting so make sure to devastate those tubes. Enemies will come in different categories so each weapon is effective against specific type. Sometimes your mech might jam so make sure to punch it hard. Between missions buy and equip your mech crawler with powerful weapons and tools. Game will surprise you with some cool ideas and such. Plot is typical war like boot camp where protagonist fight against forces of evil (a bit exaggerated). Story is a bit cliche but it doesn't matter 'cause if you're like me - just jump straight into action. Music is ok. Visuals are not that bad as you can run in 4x upscaled mode so despite many years from gmae release, graphics hold well. So if you don't have your own mech already just jump on your chair (pretending it's a mech) and blast those tubes like mad (but don't break the chair (unless you want a new one (stop putting brackets inside the brackets)))!

A Classic from the xbox arcade, brought to pc with minimal changes. One of the only games im ok with being 30fps. 7/10

This game is a masterpiece of art. One of the VERY few games (in my opinion) that has gotten the Mech/Gundam formula right. I originally found and played it on the Xbox 360, got to play it with other people that carried me to the endgame, but due to its lack of replayability without other people, so as I got older, it naturally faded into the back of my mind. Fast forward to a couple years ago, I remembered how fun it was, and decided to see if I could find it on Steam, and to no one's surprise, here it is. So I bought it, tried the new free expansion and endless modes. But now I arrive at the same problem as before, accept now it's even more severe with its dwindling community. With all that being said, on a scale of 1-"worst game I've ever played, it should be a crime to let people play this hot garbage" to 100-"God tier game, and if you don't think so, you're only denying yourself the best time ever" I give this game a 78 without friends, and an 89 with friends.

since it coming out for xbox live gold in 2014 or so its been my number 1 favourite game of all time, the number of times I reset my progress is indescribable best double fine game ever. wish there was a sequel still playing 11 years later

Used to play this on my Xbox360. Remember beating the base game and then i never had the money for the DLC. Looks like thats all in here, and to top it off it runs on Steam Deck with 0 Issues. 10/10 3rd person RTS/Hordeshooter Hybrid. The Setting oozes character, all of the VAs are top-notch. Buy this game ASAP.
