A very solid game for a devs first project. The game feels immersive, and the little details of lore is great too! play this game if you're a fan of games like 60 seconds, Papers please, or that's not my neighbor!!

The Pros: - The actual judgments are fun, varied, and interesting and they throw just enough new rules at you every so often that it stays interesting but not so many that it becomes overwhelming. - The underlying story and the various events that can happen during the game made me invested enough to want to keep going to understand it. The Cons: - The random aspect of being assassinated/arrested is really really annoying. There was a point where my potential to be arrested was at 5% and I had to restart a case entirely TWICE because I got a bad dice roll and was arrested. This entire aspect of the game needs to be reworked. - The random minigames to unlock evidence are largely awful. The cord matching and pipe turning ones are okay but the block turning is tedious and boring, and there's two minigames that rely purely on trial and error and random chance and that's completely miserable. - There's definitely some sort of English translation errors here that were mostly fine but sometimes completely changed the context of things that were happening to the point of confusion, like switching pronouns around on people. - Lastly, the things you can purchase at the store are completely decoration. I was hoping they might have some hidden benefit like maybe lowering the amount that goes into your meters by a small percent for each thing but you don't even get a trophy for buying every item. There's no reason to get anything there and it's far more important to hold onto every cent because your family are needy bastards that want to drain you of every dime and hit you with a hefty sanity punishment if you don't support them. In conclusion, this is a fun game but it's pretty rough around the edges. I quit after once again getting arrested with 15% on my arrest meter but I'm sure I'll get back to it at some point. Despite all my bitching I do still recommend you play this, but get it when it's on sale.

Bought this game because I recently watched Caseoh play it and it looked so fun. Some of the cases you deal with are quite tricky while others are straight up WILD. Overall, this game is super fun and worth every penny!
