This game is fantastic. If you like puzzle sims you'll love this. I wanted to mention that after reading the comments I noticed that the tutorial of the game doesn't explain one of the game mechanics that after you've played a while becomes obvious. I wanna mention it because it's really not obvious at first and I can see some frustration. Of the 2 meters on the top left, you have the assassination meter, and the jail meter. This tells you how likely you are to be assassinated or imprisoned. At the end of each day there is a dice roll. That probably makes no sense to some westerners whove never actually lived in either a communist country or a banana republic. But the meters in the upper left are multipliers. The dice roll are sort of a joke on the fact that in a banana republic or a communist country, you can be jailed or assassinated at anytime. It think its very fitting. The meters work as follows. For every case that you do not follow the law in any way, you get 10% added to your meter. It doesn't matter if you give someone 999 years in prison, or let them off if they were guilty, all incorrect judgments equal 10%, The assassination meter is based on letters you get on your desk asking you to be corrupt. ignoring them adds to your assassination multiplier. It's really pretty simple if you just play with it a bit. Anyway, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Buy this game.

The game is fun, but the dice roll system needs to be removed. It doesn't make sense why it is there, at least remove it for the arrest option. Because you can be a really good judge and do your job right, but get arrested instantly if you roll a 12 ??????? like developers what were you thinking that is completely unfair. Considering if you just started the game and then oops looks like I got a 12 and now I'm getting arrested. You don't even get a chance to get far into the game because at anytime you can get arrested because of the dice roll system. The developers either need to remove it for the arrested option or get rid of it completely

Loved watching Case play this game and wanted to play it myself and I loved it! The story is very interesting. Despite a few grammatical errors, it's easy to understand. I would love to see a new story arc in the future with the same format, or more achievements to get (losing your mind, reject all family requests, etc) The developer is also quick to fix any bugs or typos affecting gameplay or causing confusion on some cases. Overall, super fun gameplay and fun to watch as well!!

The chance to be assassinated and/or arrested doesnt feel linked to anything I did. This should probably be a ticker or something based on choices I make in the cases rather than a random 2d6. The dice roll adds nothing to the game and failing the roll and restarting from a save just feels incredibly boring and an active waste of my time. Also, if you are going to put Blackjack into a game, you should make the blackjack actually work. https://youtu.be/cTCQ3MaJs4M
