Just Deserts is a nice simple visual novel with a main game play loop of sim management where you focus on building yourself up, romancing the heroines, and managing limited funds. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that all the girls were fully voice acted which really elevated my opinion of the game. In my opinion the soundtrack was a real bop, especially the menu track. The story itself is kind of basic but it had its moments and I enjoyed all of the endings especially the single ending which really encapsulated that lonely feeling of parting with people you are close to. The combat while simple and easy to deal with, was however, extremely tedious because you can not skip through all the animations which in turn really made the main game feel like it was dragging on too much. Overall Just Deserts is still a good game just a little basic, but I can still say I had fun with it. Valerya was obviously best girl.
