15 year long fan. Been playing this series since I was a kid. This game has exceed all of my expectations. Ironhide went big and I love it. Whole game is a love letter to the first entry that started it all. One of the best games they've ever made and possibly my new favorite. That being said, I don't blame people for being upset at the difficulty curve for this game on release. I just beat the entire campaign on veteran and there's an insane difficulty spike at the start of the last third of the game. I managed to complete the campaign with 50/54 stars, with all the lost stars stemming from said part of the game. Either this wasn't play tested very well or Ironhide want you to go back to previous levels to farm xp and stars for upgrades. I begrudgingly picked up a few stars from the first levels challenges so I could better prepare myself. This sort of spike is something I'd expect out of impossible mode, not randomly in the middle of veteran. That doesn't mean I don't like a good challenge, in fact, the games have been pretty easy for awhile now, with the exception being some DLC levels on impossible. But this felt like too hard of a numbers spike. Had to rely on stacking damage boosts to make up for my poor xp levels. Other than that, fantastic job, Ironhide. I appreciate the amount of effort that went into making every level. Felt like I was in a movie. More of this please but without the crazy numbers spike.
現在、６ステージ目・Lozagon Towerに突入。 まだ正直最後までプレイしていないので、断言はできないが、なかなか良いのではと思う。 多彩なモード追加 初期のころのKingdom Rushが好きな人の為か、星を２４個取ると、KR（クラシック）モードで各ステージを再プレイ可能。これはなかなか面白い。その他にもヒーローだけ、スペルだけ、倍速モードなどが装備されていて、なんだか下手なモッドが入ったかと思うが、ヒーローだけモードはレベル上げに特化しているので、なかなか使いようがあると思う。スペルだけは一度クリアーしたら、再度プレイすることはないと思うが、倍速モードは短い時間でプレイしたいときにお勧めできるのでは。 難易度について 難易度に関しては特に難しいとは思えるステージにはまだ遭遇していないのではと思う。もしかすると中盤から急に難しくなるのかもしれないが、レベルアップにキャップがかかってないおかげで、序盤から意外にコストが高くない初期タワーでもレベルアップをすればそこそこ戦えるような気がする。コイン増加のためのタワーもあったりするし、まだ獲得していないタワーが多いので、個人的に全タワーを獲得した後に、またこのタワーについては言及したいところ。ただ序盤の難易度はノーキャップのおかげでだいぶ和らいでいることは明らかな気がする。 ヒーローたちについて タワーもそうだが、ヒーローも多彩に用意されている。自分が序盤に獲得したのは６キャラ。スターの獲得数でアンロックされるので、地道にステージの全レベルをクリアーしていけば、かなり序盤でも結構な数のヒーローがアンロックできそう。これは楽しみ。
So far so good. You can really feel that they've put a lot of work and love into this game. I'm writing this to counter all the negative reviews who obviously got skill-checked and raged. I got wrecked on the spider level too and love that fact that I did. Still haven't finished the game, will update review later. Pros: - tons of new modes (classic mode let's you play a whole different game) - increased difficulty (my main negatives about Alliance and Vengeance were that is was too easy) - beautiful artstyle and lots of easter eggs as always - thematic and familiar music Cons: - locked towers fully visible from the start which kinda kills the suspense, would be cooler if they were invisible until unlocked but I get it if it's because of mobile
I’ve been playing since the very first Kingdom, and I’ve finished them all! The UI is AMAZING, every hero and spell has skill trees, very customizable, the towers have multiple abilities with synergies between them, and the story is really good. I feel like they took everything that worked in the latest KR games and applied it to this title, learning from past mistakes. Excited to play more — if you’re a Kingdom Rush fan, it’s totally worth it!
I'm really liking this one so far. A lot of the systems such as the heroes and spells are more fleshed out (you can upgrade spells now?). There also seems to just be a lot more content in general, epsecially since every level has like five different game modes to play. And of course it's filled with the classic Kingdom Rush charm, from the amazing art style to the little things in the levels you can interact with. Really enjoying it!
