this should not be this fun! I am cleaning up TRASH while listening to Midi's on loop! this should not be this fun! I swear if anything was gonna be hiding a bitcoin miner it would be this. all of the cards are REALLY well drawn and yes they are all sexy references to video games, anime, Vtubers, and tv shows. at the moment the game does not have a 18+ patch for the cards but there are whispers they are in the works so I'm excited to see a whole new set of art with *cough cough* Less clothes *cough cough* and i really hope the popularity of this game being Safe to Stream but also having a sexy mode makes the dev's Richer than the queen of England, in our horrible AI world we need more human ran projects.
TL;DR: Pretty entertaining and simple, however it is very grindy and lacks some endgame quality-of-life features. Positives [*] Music : The music in this game is surprisingly very good, with Let's Rock This Junk, Sis! being an absolute banger of a song that I thoroughly get more motivated hearing whenever it plays. [*] Cards : I went into this game blind and was surprised when the cards had referenced characters I recognized from different media such as anime, vtubers, games, etc. and the effect description on some of these cards are pretty fun to read. [*] Gameplay Loop : The gameplay loop is very simple and I personally found it (for the most part) very enjoyable for a game that takes place in a single location. The upgrades are fairly priced and the stat changes (with the exception of Magnetism) are good. Negatives [*] Magnetism : This upgrade is useful, however the stat changes for it are lackluster even when fully upgraded. It's reach should extend further as all other aspects of endgame grind are handled pretty well but needing to stop and break away from the trash pile I'm working on to round the corner and aim at the compactor's bin kills the flow. [*] Cards Cleaning/Gluing : This mechanic is fun the first few times but becomes monotonous even for this game. Only having access to a toothbrush to scrub dirty cards and no upgraded tools becomes stale quick. As for the Glue Cards mechanic, it becomes boring VERY quickly as endgame mode has you clearing a small trash pile faster than gluing 10+ cards together. I wouldn't mind if there were special tools to buy or buying an expensive machine to automate it, even if it meant it would do the tasks much slower than player input. [*] Steam Achievements : The achievements are brutal, especially for the ones around foils where it's either grind away to earn cash to buy Cereal Boxes from Jenny if you maxed out your upgrades or spend forever cleaning/gluing cards and merging them into higher quality ones.
not even an hour into the game i was already obsessed with kotamon. partially because i'm extremely biased about anything that has catgirls and catboys in it. my ancestors would probably be disgusted seeing what kind of sh𝗶t i'm pouring my hours into these days, but this one is genuinely awesome for what it is. the loop is pretty simple- fill a bag, sell the bag, buy an upgrade, fill a bigger bag, repeat. it's not an idler and you should not buy it thinking it's gonna play itself for you, you WILL spend HOURS sifting through junk- occasionally finding a torn card fragment that you can glue back together into a whole one, a grimy but intact card you can clean, or a sealed cereal box stuffed with five cards at once. the last one is rare, as it should be, it's entirely the point of a game built on anticipation and occasional dopamine boosts. anything you find while digging around is bound to be of bad quality, but worry not, because you can exchange these for a better version of a certain card, and it's a whole another can of worms. which brings me to the reviews section, because honestly a lot of people are doing this game dirty. some are downvoting it for having slow progression and an energy system implemented- as if that isn't literally in the genre. if you go in blind expecting instant gratification, that's a you problem. 'a game where you have to grind has too much grinding boohoo'. me personally? because it has to be about me it's literally my review- every time i find ANYTHING card adjacent in these heaps of garbage i feel like a junkie hearing their plug pulling up. it's glorious. the game is also a treat to look at while you slowly train yourself into an addiction because every single card is individually drawn. every single one! and they're all so pretty!! just like all of them trash labels. and as an artist myself i'm actually ecstatic not seeing a single ai made thing here. the art direction is on top, the little comic interjections punctuating the grind are cute, and the 3d models, especially the figurines that you can also collect, are absolutely adorable. the attention to detail is honestly astonishing as nothing is half-assed. being fully saccharine :3 if you're one of the 'not recommended' crowd mad about the slow game no naked boobs thing- maybe touch grass idk. the missing point is it's starting to give me capral tunnel on hour seven you know what you did
It really depends on what you’re looking for. This is a very niche game, so read carefully before buying ... The most important thing is that the gameplay loop of this game is extremely repetitive. What you were shown during the first 5 minutes represents the entire upcoming 10 hours. The game is all about collecting trash and throwing it away (with a few additional tasks such as drinking or repairing cards). So, this can get boring quickly. It’s probably better suited for playing casually while listening to a podcast or doing something else. At its current stage (Aug 25, 2026), the quality-of-life features and progression are also quite limited, and those minor upgrades do just enough to remind you that things could have been better. Also, if you’re mainly interested in the hentai/nudity, don’t expect much. The outfits are mildly sexy rather than lewd, and the artwork is limited, so you’ll see the same cards repeatedly. I hope more updates (as well as 18+ patch) will come soon. So, currently, the game, for me, feels more like an early-access title than a finished product. I’m giving it a positive review mainly to encourage the developer(s) to keep updating and improving it. Without future updates, I’d have to give it a negative review.
