At first this one looks just like another cohabitation romance simulation game—or a Living with Sister-like if you prefer—but let me tell you: this one has more depth than the trailer and screenshots let out, let me break it down a bit. For starters, it has all the common tropes of the sub-genre, no reinventing the wheel here: Work to earn money, use that money to buy food, upgrades, and gifts for Neet-chan, get to know her, establish a connection, let her open up to you in more ways than one, rinse and repeat. The amount of actions available during the lewd scenes (which can take around 40 minutes to unlock, maybe less if you read fast or want to skip ahead to the sexy bits, in case you’re wondering) is determined by a skill tree. You usually know what you’ll get in advance, or you can figure it out from the skill names, so you can plan ahead and invest according to the kinks you’re into. Remember how I said this game is deeper than it looks? This next part gently nudges into spoiler territory, so read at your own risk: Once you unlock every skill on the tree and reach the “ending”, right after the credits roll, the game surprisingly opens up: You get a kind of epilogue where you can unlock more actions, extend the playtime by maybe another hour, and reach the “true ending” and even the “true true ending.” Speaking of which, I never expected an H-game to have such wholesome endings and a real sense of closure once you finish it. Now, getting into the “jizz” of things—the lewd scenes. They’re all static CGs, but the art is amazing. There’s voice acting (though it’s just moans and groans), and there’s a solid variety of positions ranging from the usual: Vaginal, anal, handjobs, blowjobs, even some feet stuff. If you have a very specific kink you might be a bit disappointed, since it’s mostly vanilla stuff. One thing I really like is that at a certain point in the game, you can buy a camera and change the angle of whatever position you’re in, giving you a different perspective of the action. That was a first for me, and I genuinely enjoyed the feature since it keeps the intimate moments fresh. All in all, given its current price, I have no problem recommending the game at full price. If you’re into cohabitation sims where you can take your roomie to town, and you like cute, funny protagonists with authentic wholesome moments, then this one is right for you. P.D.: You may also want to grab it now while is on sale tho, since they will be raising the price for the game on some regions, due to the game including the VA DLC with the Steam release.
Short VN, two playthroughs done in ~2 hours. The soundtrack punches well above its weight, a few tracks are legitimately moving, and the voice acting is strong throughout. This Steam release is the lightened version. The dev offers a free patch on their own site that restores the original adult content, and the story is clearly written with that version in mind. The Steam cut stands on its own, but the patched version is the complete experience. Easy recommend for VN fans either way.
