Good game to offset playing Wolverine :). I originally got this game as part of a bundle of a fish game I got from my son. I didn't think there was any way I would actually play this game, but tried it and liked it. There is one major bug, though, that I'm disappointed with. Looking at other reviews, the developers don't respond anymore, so I haven't tried to reach out to them. On Millview Park, for the whole park contract, I spent over an hour cutting the grass and somehow clipped through to the bottom of the map. When I saved and quit, it reset all my progress, and I still spawned under the map. The game is broken at this point, and I can't continue. I might be able to cancel the contract, but it's disappointing when you're trying to make progress and spend all that time and then lose it for a glitch. Overall, it's a good game, and I'm looking forward to the second one coming out.
EDIT: I decided to try this game again but on controller and it is SOOO much better. I still wish there were more options for the cruise control and possibly the ability to zoom in just a tad. I really tried to give this game a chance. My mouse is only inverted going up and down and there is no way of changing that unless I completely invert the X and Y axis (plus the only options for Y axis are on foot and mower). Your only options for speed are fast or slow and if you use cruise control, there is no options of what speed you want to increase or decrease to. You just click W or S and it sets it at a random speed. The camera angles are a pain to work with, and no matter how much I tweak the settings changed much to help. I really hope they will improve in the next game because I enjoyed the small amount of mowing.
The game is relaxing but i have one major problem and that is becuase my steering hweel dosent turn in game when i use my sim wheel and i can only go forwards and backwards by pressing the gas pedal and brake pedal at the same time. if any dev or someone that can fix this problem please help!
I loved this game, honestly surprised there aren't more positive reviews. Great super chill simulator to veg out to. There is a timer but its only to get $ bonuses, you can still take as long as you want on contracts and I regularly do. I played on steam deck and didn't have any input issues. If you do get stuck on rocks there is a button to recover the mower to a nearby location. My main drawback is I wish there were more levels, even with all of the DLCs. I also wish the pro view to highlight uncut grass could be used while moving. But overall I really enjoyed Lawn Mowing Simulator as a relaxing game. edit: also pro tip! Set run to default so you don't have to hold a button to run when not on a mower.
