If you are wondering if this is a good "First game" to play with your son or daughter then the answer is a resounding YES. It's charming, beautiful and even touching in ways I did not expect, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Some platform-ey bits are genuinely challenging for a small human still learning controls, but we got there in the end. I only needed to do one single section, right near the end, by playing as both players - otherwise everything was achievable for a 6y/o on his first game using a controller. Also, if you're the parent, make sure you choose red and your child chooses blue. I won't spoil anything, but that is very important.
Played this w/ my long distance lovely girlfriend. This game was amazing, though we both had our moments of rage over the little things in puzzles. First game we grinded all the achievements for together. I highly recommend this and games like this for long distance couples, or even friends. Also, My sweet girl, if you end up reading this review know that I love you always, no matter the distance (you folks will understand that after you beat the game). <3
