⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Very comfy game, I remember playing this back in 2012 when I was younger. Picked it up on steam a couple years back and completed it, only now have I managed to get through the "Ho Ho Holiday" DLC. The game brings back some really fond memories for me. Great to play during the winter times, especially if you uncap your framerate, Your GPU acts as a cosy toasty fireplace substitute !

I found this game to be simple, short, and genuinely fun. I loved discovering the different item combos you can buy and how they change each run. While I did find the characters constantly mailing me a bit annoying, the game is still absolutely worth playing. The story feels like a quiet reflection on how we waste time staring into our “fires” — screens — and how that time is something we can never get back. It’s subtle but surprisingly meaningful. I missed an achievement on my first playthrough and had to replay the game, but thankfully the DLC makes that easy by letting you replay and unlock anything you missed. The DLC adds a new character and several new items. It feels very similar to the original game — like replaying it with more content and a slightly different story. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend it.

I first saw Lewis and Simon of the Yogscast play this many years ago, back when I was a wee babby. Simon's silly voices paired well with the characters. I subsequently remember asking my parents to buy this game for me, but they said no. :( But now as a full on a-dolt, I can buy this for myself! I'm only 20 mins in at the moment, but it's everything I remember from childhood. Lovely game, lovely story.

You can play Little Inferno. You can have as much fun as you like! ... But you can never go back. The premier fireplace simulator - an early indie classic. Experience and enjoy, even if just for a few hours.
