I purchased this game because of my absolute love for cats and all things feline but especially so because my son is an exact, one for one, copy of the main cat in this game. I haven't play much of it and sadly don't think I'll be able to return to this game because not long after purchasing my little boy did pass away and I named the protagonist after him. It's hard to look at the game sometimes because of the striking resemblance. For those who are unaware of their cat breeds, black cats, also known as bombays, specifically have yellow-orange colored eyes and black cat seen without those color are considered 'rare'. They were bred for the specific purpose of being a black panther but as a house cat and so thats why this game really speaks to me and my late cat because he also had green eyes. I even have a picture of him sitting on my desk right next to the kitty in the game on the home screen and its a photo I'll cherish forever. It's been over a year and I miss him dearly and I'm grateful for this company making such an adorable game with a cute story. I hope that I can return to this game and achievement hunt for it but I sadly don't think that's in the cards for me yet since it's still very fresh. Regardless, it's an amazing game and I can't praise it enough and I hope it gives bombay kitties all over the extra love they deserve since they're so overlooked.
I really love this game! It is super cute and an amusing game but it also holds little kid's attentions and is not very scary. It has a HUGE replay ability factor and it amusing and memorable. You will have to help your child play it a bit but my daughter ran with it and soon all I had to do was read to her a bit while she played and help with hard bits every now and then. The absolute best thing is that now that my daughter is learning to read she is learning super fast. She can read most of the whole game barring some of the bigger words like commemorative. I am honestly impressed listening to her read the lines out loud :) I would urge all parents if your kid likes video games get this because it is an investment. Every now and then she gets annoyed when there are a ton of big words but we just skip and eventually she forgets her angst and starts reading again. She did say she would love it if you made a "dog version" but make it so the dog can go in the water and she wants the dog to be able to trick people too like the cat. xD Thanks, Mericalandra
Honestly, I love this game, however, there are some things that could be improved. For example, I'm sad that when you you beat the game, there's not much else to do. So I have some requests for the developer. First and foremost, it would be nice if when you returned to a to-do mission NPC, they would give you another mission so that you could keep doing missions. Also, it would be great if the apartment where the cat lived was expanded. Also, it would be nice if the map was also expanded. With that, I conclude my review.
