uff, i already finish it with 100% achievements. so, let me explain a few to you about this cute game. you only need to do a backup before level 7-9, choose the first option and finally, load your backup and continue with the second option. well, before start this game, i finished hero by chance 1 . between 1 and 2, i prefer this one because there are a lot of content. especially if you are grinder lover, like me, you will really enjoy it because on it, developers add a new grinder system. the story is really amazing, too, you can find a lot of girls and finally, you can builder them a lot. so, thank you developers for create this one, i really apreciate it !! now, i need to start with saga WARLORD BY CHANCE here is my raiting for this KAWAII game: 9.1/10

[*]While more lore is good, there is too much fluff that could be edited. [*]Grinding is a requirement and inescapable. If you did like the first Hero By Chance (HBC1) as well as Warlord By Chance(WBC1) then you can rest assured that Hero By Chance 2 (HBC2) is quite simply, bigger and better than the first one in almost every single way. Building upon their Suikoden-style, lightweight Real Time Strategy, back are the Army Battles, Unit Gauntlet, Monster Boss Battle as well as a new Siege Battle, and Summon Generals with special skills. You of course can romance these Generals with new Dating mechanics that raises the affections of the women which reduces the cost of summoning them. You are also given a lot more control over how to upgrade your base and units with the introduction of Research Points that gives you many passive bonuses. All in all, it is a significant upgrade from the previous iterations of Love N War. The story, lore and characters too has immensely improved. While HBC1 had a simple story with 1-dimensional cast of characters, HBC2 has an intriguing political war story with key figures having their own opinions, convictions and differing personalities. The women now aren’t simply cute girls in costumes, instead they are people with history, and the excellent writing gives each of them their own distinguishing motivations. My favorite are the Juliana and Julieth whom has the most interesting back stories and motivations for our protagonists, with insights on courtly politicking essential to the wider lore of Hero By Chance. Supporting the great story is the excellent use of sound design. Reborn Entertainment uses loud drums of war, cries of dying men and warbeasts as well as clever use of gestures like sighing and grunting to make the text and dialogue feel immersive. This is further enhance by the beautifully drawn Background Illustration that changes depending on the text. Images of warriors dying in battle, of nobles dueling, or my favorite is the image of the Viscountess Courtenay which is beautifully drawn. Each of these small details is design to regale you to what is already a good story. However, HBC2 is not perfect. While I did enjoy HBC1 and WBC1’s spicy content and I would consider those acceptably good. HBC2 is a noticeable downgrade. The live 2D model is not up to standard even if it does the job; the facial and body proportions are off, the movement are stiff & puppet-like, the poses and camera angle are uninspired and the foreplay is too long. I can sincerely say only Cecilia, Tia-Menere, Angrahad, Juliana and Julieth are modeled and designed well. While this isn’t a deal-breaker for me, I can understand if there are some fans who will be greatly disappointed. The story too while it is enjoyable, there is too many info dumps. You spend more time reading then you are in combat. Part of this is the terrible use of textbox which only scrolls one sentence at a time making you click ‘next’ ad nauseum. Also, a lot of the dialogue could probably be trimmed to keep the flow tight. I refer to Capcom’s efficient use their textbox in Ace Attorney which in my opinion is the Gold Standard on how to make a great visual novel. Lastly, HBC2 will require you to grind quite a bit to enable to you to get the most out of all the new game mechanics introduced here and there really isn’t enough gold It is a tedious game but thankfully it isn’t a dire. Despite the flaws, I think HBC2 is an absolute triumph for Reborn Entertainment and I do fully recommend it simply because of it’s gameplay even if it has marginally serviceable spicy content. Recommended 9/10
