As much as I love this game and DO think it's worth at least one playthrough, this game lacks the replayability that I thought it would have. It's definitely not something you will continue playing for years, unless the dev makes an update. There is really quite a lack of blocks and items, and the world generation seems to not be quite as random as I was hoping. It does interesting things like merging biome styles at the borders sometimes, but if you try to go up forever you'll quickly find out a lot of the world is (1) empty space (2) repeating / mirroring layers of not-that-interesting-terrain once you go up or down far enough from the "starting plane" where the most varied biomes exist. If you go too far up or down from this "starting plane", you will run into pretty cool generations for the first layer or so, but then you'll run into the endless pixel-status layers with giant extruded towers, which invariably lead to either more of those layers, or the library layer (nothing in it, just very large and covers the whole layer), or the crossbeams layer, and beyond that a bunch of space-like astral layers and cube fields. The first time you experience all this is will blow your mind. And maybe a few times after that. Ultimately the world generations just was not as varied as I had hoped - and that could be forgiven if there were at least some more items or enemies or block types and interesting interactions/features. My earnest hope is that the dev will update this and looking at this version in the future will be like us today looking back at the first terraria build. I see great things in the future for this game, but beware the experience will become shallow if you truly are good at plumbing the depths (and heights) of the game, and learning the crafting system quickly. I unfortunately overchewed every piece of this game and it is flavorless like fruit stripe gum. I eagerly anticipate more updates with more blocks (and hopefully more things to do)

It's like silent hill and minecraft had a baby but the little one came out already high on acid. Worth more than it's asking price, 80+ hrs in and i still feel like ive only scratched the surface. Buy it, and don't look for guides, just wing everything and you'll see the true art of this game

It's like how minecraft felt when you were young and didn't know anything about minecraft, and it was confusing and maybe a little spooky at times, and I love this game for capturing that feeling perfectly. First game to make 1 lucidillion dollars

Game's rad, It's a beautiful surreal exploration game. and it truly does just keep going, I hit f2 after going down a long time, through various methods, and saw my -y coordinate was over 9000. The discovery-aspect is fun. There is a logic to the crafting, but I haven't fully nailed it yet. It does have some "spookier" areas, but I've not experienced a single jump-scare the entire time and that's pretty much the only horror I don't enjoy. For 10 USD, even if you just get 4 or 5 whimsical and fascinating hours out of it, I'd say it's worth it. I just paid the same amount for some fast food. and that won't entertain me for 14.4 hours.
