I adore this game. A year ago, I was watching a video about some random terrible unfinished game, that was also about murdering people, where the commentator used Lucius as an example for how some of the mechanics could have been improved. I was intrigued and decided to get all 3 games in the series (I am yet to play the demake), and I played through each one. Now, I'm going back to get 100% achievements. I've seen this game criticized a ton for being "goofy" and "bad", but I think it's just an aged and slightly cheesy masterpiece. The story starts from the simple idea of "what if the son of Lucifer was born into a human family?" and has you experience, from the son's perspective, exactly how events unfold. I love how this game turns a horror story into a villain-POV puzzle game. There are definitely moments where the solutions can be confusing or a bit hyper-specific, but none of them are impossible to figure out on your own. The biggest criticism I've seen is the bugs. And honestly, I encountered very few. The biggest bug is a game breaking crash after the opening cutscene. Even though I took a while to find the solution that worked for me, the bug is fixable, and I added a community post with every possible fix I found. All other glitches I encountered were very small and didn't break the game or stop my progress or anything. I get why some don't enjoy this game (especially if they entered the game not expecting a lot of gore) but I love it. I definitely think, with the right expectations (visit doesthedogdie.com and search for Lucius if you have concerns about sensitive content), those considering the game should check it out :)

This game is about a six year old boy born in a billionaire family committing murders in a creative way to avoid getting caught using his supernatural abilities gifted by the devil himself, that's more than enough information to want to play it.

a childhood game of mine (please don't this to your kids tho) that I pick up from time to time cause it has great atmosphere, interesting puzzles and decent stealth and a little bit of combat in late stages

Lucius is such a lil jit 8/10. There's only 1 bad thing I can say about this game, is that you need 40 hours just to 100% the game, DIABOLICAL. 40 hours? Really? For a 6 - 8 hour game? wtf

I got this game after seeing a few youtubers play it when I was younger. I'm so glad I got to experience it myself. The lips don't match up with the dialogue and some of the animation is a bit funky, but that's to be expected from an older game.
