Bought this game in 2019 after getting a hit of nostalgia from rewatching PewDiePie play this. Still holds up great and is fun to play

it is alright. sometimes it is fun to figure out how to complete the chapter. sometimes it is glitchy and/or overly difficult to complete (especially the last few chapters).

from when I originally watched PewDiePie play this as a kid I have come full circle and have finally been able to experience the game for myself, while its age shows i do think its held up quite well. it has been a teeny bit buggy but for the most part I really only struggled once I hit chapter 9 because the game would just break on me and it got quite frustrating. after stepping away for a bit I came back with the patience needed and was able to finally finish the game. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone, it is entertaining and satisfying to play as this evil spawn of Lucifer. onto the next game, !

The game is lame, but still manages to be atleast somewhat enjoyable in certain ways. Deaths are cool and some of the cutscenes are hilarious. Gameplay is nothing special, mostly just moving from A to B collecting stuff you can use in later chapters only (I expected more freedom and multiple ways in performing kills in my own ways, turns out there is only one solid way, big disappointment) and wandering around to figure out what you're supposed to do since the game doesn't do a good job at explaining most of the time, I personally had to use a guide a couple of times. If you have the ability to enjoy bad movies and/or are able to make your own fun, this game might be worth looking at. Totally worth a try if you manage to get it at sale (snatched it for about 1€) and you got a few hours to spare.

I finished all of the Lucius games recently. If you want an interesting story about the son of devil, than play this or the demake version (or both), than Lucius 3. If you want to be a child serial killer, play Lucius 2. If you want both, no luck for you. All of the games have bugs, except Demake, but all of them are something you can use to it. If you have the patience for that, you will have an unique experience. About games: - Lucius: It is a 3D "point and click"-like game wich focuses on storytelling, gore and wandering around and in the manor. It uses slowmos very badly, even ruined the tense of the last chapter for me. Try to talk to everybody in every chapter for more infos and hints. - Lucius demake: First demake I ever played. Much easier to find items. The last chapter is teasing and besides that I like it much better than the original. Also it has the best OST from all of them. - Lucius 2: It is now a challenging game, where you have many ways to harvest souls. It is very well made that way (besides bugs of course). In exchange, it has the worst storytelling and character development, but in Lucius 3 they reflected to it very well. - Lucius 3: The 3D "point and click"-like gameplay returns with open world and again it´s rather focuses on gore and storytelling. Back to the roots, but better. Even it is not a finished game as intended, it´s story is phenomenal. My jaw dropped in front the genuie of the writer(s?). It is my favourite from all, because after those mixed stuff the other games gave me, I have finally seen the true Lucius I ever wanted to see. If I can say that, the first Lucius game is like a movie, the second and demake is like a game and the third is a series that didn´t finished, but closed properly (as possible). The strongest part of all games are Lucius itself and his strange character development. He never talks (khm...), he just kill poeple, but the small things, like the way he does the murders or how he reacts to certain situations build his style, but you never really know what he really feels or think. That´s his true power, beside being a kid. In Lucius 3 he is very strong, but he still use that power to outsmart others like in the first game, while in Lucius 2 he is rather aggressive and the gameplay is about that too. Focus on Lucius itself, Don´t care about bugs, get used to them, Have patience to find what you need And you will have a very great experience you will never forget.
