Just 100%'ed it. Good game. A bit more active than I would have liked, and I'm not a fan of relying on prestige mechanics to make meaningful progression, but I still recommend it if you enjoy semi-idle incremental games. It also feels like the very endgame content is only really possible with a specific build, and I would have enjoyed it if there were options for each school of magic to potentially complete the endgame content and challenges. Now to go and get started on Magic Research 2.

good game. While the art is nothing impressive, the game has several fun systems to play around with. The writing isnt anything fantastic, but it passes with some storylines that kept me intrigued and wanting to get to the next one. At times it can be confusing how to progress further, like getting stuck on a boss, and the game doesnt do very much to help you in that regard. the "offline progression" is unique, allowing you to store time and use it to advance the game when it could be more beneficial. all in all I give the game a 7.5/10 worth the couple of bucks. if youre unsure and if it ever goes on sale Id say take the deal!

Not a horrible game, although i highly recommend buying Magic Research 2 over this game. I got this in a bundle and played it for a while, but it's pretty apparent it has short comings. Lots of repetition and over-maintenance of certain small time things. the second game fixes these things and makes the overall gameplay flow better.

It's a very simple idle game, grindy to the right point but with good progression mechanics. There's an incredible lot to unlock and to discover.

I can't tell what got me so addicted to this game but apparently it got me addicted. It's simple, no music, barely any story. But just the look of how you're progressing further and further into the game just makes me happy. And hecc- I was relieved once I finished the last boss. In magic research all you do is building up your little text-based production while exploring text-based dungeons. Key feature is to "retire" once you hit an unbeatable point and -restart- the game with additional skills, upgrades and multiplicators which lets you progress further into your text-based adventure.
