"Maid Cafe on Electric Street is a story-focused adventure game where you enjoy daily life at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe" This is an accurate representation for what this game actually is. It feels like it should be more a management sim or Coffee Talk like, but it really doesn't lean into those genres fully. Management is more or less automatic, and Coffee Talk aspect is kinda harsh if you don't already know the recipe book to get. As it is, it feels like it wants to be a simulation game, but it is shackled into being a glorified Visual Novel. The characters are charming and the aesthetic is very well executed. The voice work is great addition even though they could've just used a generic 8-bit sfx. If there were to be a sequel, or similar project by this team, focus on one core aspect of gameplay. Either lean into the tavern/inn management sim aspects more (e.g. actually having to pay for stuff while managing rent/debt) or into the bartender sim aspects by giving a great diversity of ingredients for the player to involve themselves. A comfort game which does what it says but not quite what's on the tin. It doesn't really push any new concepts as a game but for it's price it doesn't need to. I recommend Maid Cafe on Electric Street if you want a game which is cozy, but otherwise games within the same price bracket would offer greater experiences.

Holy moly I need a Miyu in my life The repetition in the game does get a bit dull after a while, but the pacing of the story and events always kept me engaged for what would happen next. It really does feel like a romcom anime-esque show was brought to life in a video game format. Try it out for yourself!

All i can say is this amazing dream was way TOO SHORT! Pros +Very cute and moe art +Adorable Main cast of characters with amazing Voice Actors! +A story you can kinda relate too with a heart warming and 'find your purpose' kinda pick me up vibe. +Lots of collectibles like cards, wall art, music, games, manga, figurines, and more. You can even display them! +Artistically vibrant cast of supporting characters and background characters. The only downside would be -the occasional bugs. Although few, there were times where i'd get stuck unable to move or the game would freeze. Game breaking bugs are very rare though. -lack of customization for the cafe and room even though you can collect so many figurines, tapestries etc. You're limited to how many you can display, and the cafe area cant be customized at all aside from music. -Too short! Its just way too short for you to get close with all the maids, forcing you to do replays instead of organically growing close with everyone. I wouldn't mind replays but the gameplay is- -Gameplay is too simple! The VA-11 HAll-A mini game moments are way too few. You can't even offer to make special brews for your own maids during down times or anything. The town you live at has a crud ton of people that could have been used for the mini game moments. The actual gameplay part of the cafe is also very simplified. You literally just take a guests order, deliver food, get money. They diffinitely could have spiced up the gameplay to add in more things that you can actually 'manage' as a manager of the cafe. -A lack of things to do, days go by so fast and there's very little to do unless you hit an event. This is also true when interacting with the maids, you can't just randomly call em for a stroll or take a trip to the arcades. All in all, for a title that i got during sale, I fell in love with it. If they ever decide to make another like this, I only wish they'd make it longer and add in the niche details required to play at the strengths of the 'hoarding otaku' kinda vibe they had in this game. If you like VN's, otaku stuff, and a cozy vibe then definitely give this a try.

This game is adorable. I loved the style of the game, the story lines, and all the cool things you can do like go to the arcade or WoDonalds! 10/10 It's now in the upper part of my favorite cafe games♥ Works great on steamdeck

What a cute little game this was. Honestly, I was expecting more to it to managing the café, it gets old pretty quick but! The game more than makes up for it in the little stories and the vibes. I absolutely loved the game and cannot recommend it enough. It really is just a chill, relaxing day to day life sim of managing your own maid café surrounded by cute girls. Shiro best girl humu humu.
