A hidden gem of a game for all mech lovers of the super robot kind. Just learned of the game late last year and was able to get it just now on sale. Only problem is the iffy english localization some of which uses... Weird modern audience language. Thankfully few and far between.
I can't believe that it took me so long to find this game. + The plot and design of Megaton Musashi W is a love letter to 70's, 80's, and 90's mecha anime. The Mazinger, Voltes V, and Getter Robo collabs aren't on accident. + The difficulty curve is as difficult as you want to make it. + A deep level of customization that is still accessible to beginners and casual players. The main points of customization are robot parts, motherboards, and pilot skills. + New game plus. - Level 5's marketing team needs to do a better job. This game should have been on everyone's radar.
