If you want spend some time playing & enjoying a game, pick this up. It's quite like the legendary SNES title, Zelda III: A Link to the Past... but with a spaceship. You explore a map, get power-ups, visit dungeons, solve puzzles, and beat bosses. ...However: if you don't actually enjoy spending time playing games and want to speedrun every game for trophies or whatever, you should probably pass on this one. (You should also slow down a bit and take the time to enjoy things, but whatever. It's your life.)
Well, what can I say? I've had to postpone my FFVII Rebirth playthrough just to keep playing and beat this game, if that says something. A fine tuned experience that mixes old school Zelda progression / level design with bullet hell induced friction and twin stick shooter gameplay. This got me hooked from the very first minute to the last few hours, good stuff.
It's a cute easy 8-12 hour game. Very enjoyable, doesn't require incredible bullet hell skills to complete and gives you more than enough tools dependent on your skill level. It's nothing to really sink your teeth into, but would love to see another project like this with a larger scope.
The only truly bad thing about this game is the title. The unnecessary apostrophe and generic name implies that it is a low-effort asset flip when it is actually one of the best games on Steam. Everything else about the game is top quality. The only things that could be considered issues that I experienced were occasionally getting lost in cave areas due to no map or indicators of where to go and being unable to max out all stats as there is not nearly enough XP without an extreme grind. In both of my playthroughs I have been at least 40 levels short of getting max stats and wish to experience having max stats just to see how different it is. This game should be much more popular and apparently one of the major reasons it isn't is due to the title.
