Earlier this year, all of the Asmodee digital board game app online servers were down for an extended time, about half of them never came back, the other half did come back and I got a lot of play on them this summer and fall. Recently, posting this December 22 and near as I can tell it's been within the last week or two, the Mysterium online server is once again down (it was working fine in October). If you have not bought this game and were thinking about it...it's a great game, when the servers are up and working, it's a fun game to play with other humans...the bots, are not good, so offline play can be frustrating. I highly recommend this game (especially after they fixed server connection and game setup issues that plagued the game a year ago). BUT, I would not recommend purchasing this game (at full price at any rate) until the servers are back up. It's a popular title, I have to assume this one that will get fixed soon. Right now the game costs less than $3.00, so it's a great time to get it...play the solo and offline modes, get the achievements and unlockables that you can, but know, you won't be playing online over the holidays (most likely). If and when the servers are back up, I'll revise this review. I have 188 games of Mysterium played this year, so obviously it's a game I enjoy. I just hope they get the server working soon. As of MID-JANUARY, The server is back up, so my review is now THUMBS UP!

Just a good digital version of a board game be warned though if the servers ever go down its a long wait for them to come like weeks wait.

I'm updating this review as the servers are back up! I LOVE Mysterium. It's one of my favourite boardgames to play with my friends and family. I have played hundreds of matches with this game and loved every single one. This game had/has issues with it's servers dropping unexpectedly, with very little communication from Asmodee, but after a loud outcry from the fanbase, the game is back up! Mysterium is a fantastic game to play alone or with friends, though I highly recommend playing it with friends to laugh about silly choices with. One of you is the ghost, and through a silly game of picture charades, you have to solve their murder. The cards are absurd, the crimes even more so, but therein lies the fun. This game is for people who love puzzles, the supernatural, or are just open to a silly night of fun!

A fun game to play with your friends and hear them over-analyze why they think you gave them that card when in reality you chose it because the colors match, but hey the story they create around it is entertaining at least xD
