The dice rolls are fine. That's how unbiased probability and statistics work. Reading the reviews makes me understand why devs in other games introduce player-centric biases just to avoid this kind of reviews. The game can be brutal. Play to play, not to win - and you'll be fine. And if you want a lighter challenge, there's plenty of house rule options that can make the game a walk in the park.

An absolutely dreadful game made by sadists and politicians I had the most fun in this game than any other I return to it like a 48 year old drunkard to the pub he went to since he was but a wee lad. Probably shouldn't go here and I will likely regret it, but its routine now.
