Well, I was able to get it when it was on sale for $10 ('it' being a bundle). This included everything except the POV and Chaos story, which I was disappointed to find out later. Honestly, they just need to put the whole thing together. The only reason I don't completely write off the aspect of separating each story and epilogues is if someone buys it at full price but can't buy everyting at that time (~$45). However, the game being classified as 'Free to Play' is just ridiculous. Was it worth the price I paid? Absolutely, without a doubt. Am I going to pay another $10 for the 'Deluxe Edition' DLC which is two POV stories and the Chaos story? Nope. Seriously, just wait for it to go on sale. Zero regrets. ~Favorite Route: Shinji~ <3
I don't know why I didn't write a review sooner but... I've been following the developers for a long while now, and bought this game a year ago, and I can seriously say that I admire these girls for producing this masterpiece! I really hope that the sequel (Echoes) comes out in the second half of this year like they say it will due to it being pushed back a lot and I really can't wait anymore. This game is one of my favourite games ever (hence why it says I spent 180 hours playing it.. BUT it's actually more than that due to being offline when playing it also lmao) and I can easily say that I'm one of its biggest fans haha. That being said, my review is not going to be biased.. It's just going to be.. my review. (: Anyway, I TOTALLY recommend this game, but people need to be aware of the fact that this game is NOT FREE! Yes, it says it is but that's because it's free to play the prologue and 3 chapters of the route of each of the 5 guys.. everything else needs money (and there's a lot of chapters for each of the guys). I'd say that the money was my only downfall for this game (because I can't really waste money) but even that was still okay because the money didn't go to waste due to me playing it constantly~ The graphics/artwork are gorgeous, and the storyline is creative, intriguing and really well written! Moreover all five routes are extremely different from each other and will keep you hooked (Takumi's is my favourite), and you'll end up easily falling in love with all the guys (in real life hehe) and their different personalities. I also fell in love with the heroine because her character was so relatable and enjoyable. So yeah, I spent all my free time playing this game, I couldn't get enough of it; I was addicted! The game's also easy to play (runs smoothly etc) and the soundtrack is extremely beautiful.. Most of the time I actually found myself staying on the starting menu jamming to the song instead of playing the game. To conclude, there's minor flaws with this game, but that comes with any game. If you want this game please don't let money put you off and just try it for yourself! You may get hooked like I did <3
Honestly, this game is totally worth your money. A friend bought me my first route as an early birthday gift and I'm looking into buying the others because they're just that captivating. The plot is amazing; it's all so heartwarming, heartbreaking, and full of swirling emotions to keep you on your toes. It really does make you want more.
