So easy to play through hundreds of games without noticing the time. Get a team, pass the ball. FYI there is no local co-op or offline modes.

I recommend this to the informed gamer. Understand what you are buying before you spend your money. This is not NBA Street Remake/Remastered. This is NBA THE RUN, a completely different game made with a different vision in mind. This is an online multiplayer basketball game, with no single player content available as of now. You can do solos controlling a team of three players, or squads in which you choose one player to control. Game rules are randomized each match, sometimes you'll be playing a standard game of 21, other times you'll be playing up to 7 points with each bucket counting as one point regardless of where it was shot from. No "RUN" feels the same, and every player has their own specific attributes. It's been a ton of fun putting different teams together, and learning which players fit my playstyle best. The gameplay is excellent, it's simple enough to pick up and play but also deep enough to create a bit of a skill gap between novice players and experts. Unlockables are pretty basic right now, but that might be a good thing. There are no microtransactions, and the store uses in game currency only. There are plenty of alternate jerseys to unlock, as well as special dunks, taunts, and other profile customization options. There is plenty to grind for, and you can easily sink a ton of hours into this if you enjoy what it is. The 8 hours I have in the game have been nothing but fun, even when I was losing. Overall, NBA THE RUN is an excellent online multiplayer arcade basketball game that is absolutely worth your money IF you can look past the online only component. It is an excellent video game that just needs more game modes, and variety with how you play it. Play by Play has really made something special here, and I can't wait to see what comes next for NBA THE RUN.

Plays like a modern day NBA Jam. The game has a surprisingly high skill ceiling due to the huge amount of moves available to you. The game is superior to NBA 2k26 and 3on3 Freestyle Rebound because it is skill based and not pay to win.

Great core gameplay. Still some bits that are missing but Devs previously have been listening to the players so I would expect to see things like single player, licensed music and VC to come soon. Things id like to see: - Ultra wide support. A lot of the time I cant see the ball on the screen so id like to utilise my ultrawide to combat that issue - Motion blur removal - Dribble move chaining being more fluid would be cool to see - Different dribble moves for different players, or purchasable dribble moves in the shop - More rewards for winning tournaments - More game mode options, quick play for when I don't want to be locked into 3 games at a time - Press Play > Get into game with team mates > Choose your player screen. This would help combat going against 3 Wemby's when searching with randoms - If I lose a game with randoms, I dont want to be put back in a lobby with said randoms. If I want to invite someone from the last game let me do it from the menu. I dont want to have to leave the party to requeue every time - Maybe some more cosmetics other than just NBA jerseys and shorts for players. Not as excessive as 2k with robots and skeletons etc, but some cool realistic street outfits to see NBA players in would be nice. Other than that, this is a really fun game, breaking ankles is fun, dunking on people is fun, shooting feels nice, so far there's nothing too annoying. IMO way more fun than 2K. Worth £25. Lots of fun to play with friends. PS. Devs seem to care. THERES NO MICROTRANSACTIONS THAT SHOULD SPEAK VOLUMES IN THIS DAY AND AGE!
