It really captures the feelings of being lonely, stuck and despair. However, it brings important reflections about the importance of standing up and keep pushing forward. Part me of feels happy, comfortable, and desiring to join all those people who go out at night and have fun with beers and cigars, its a life I never had. I've been stuck with the "safe and well behaved lifestyle". Part of me wants to join them, belonging to a group. The part that hit me most was the end, the women in the middle of the soccer field, talking, chilling.

A very powerful game. I've seen other games & media portraying this sense of ennui / dying world, but the way Neyasnoe make you feel it is special.

Russian feel-bad walking sim. Have a beer, smoke, talk to people, razor-sharp vibe. Very short for the price tag but a few easily missed corners to explore.

A walking simulator that questions life with nihilistic philosophies. A dying city where some of your friends have pursued brilliant professional careers, others have fallen into worldly vices, and still others have simply accepted quiet, ordinary jobs. The game overflows with moments of euphoria disguised as happiness, contrasting with moments of sadness and loneliness. Perhaps Slavs identify more with this feeling, but if you're Western and want to enter a depressing and strange world, simply dive into this world with no prospects for life.
