Fun port of a mobile game about using a ninja (kinda) army to take back Japan. I'll never forget the battle sound effects for this game.

Amazing game that is easy to understand. It words well, cheap, interesting and has a decent difficulty curve. I would say it has at least 25 hour n your first play through.

I played this before during its initial release on the app store, Kairosoft again is a unique studio like none other creating small bite sized simulation games on just about anything you can think of. Ninja Village is among their early games released and it has been a nostalgic trip to replay it. But while I got stuck at the last village the last time, i find am worst off this run and struggle with the difficulty spike which is quite a hard wall to surpass, must be getting old lol. It's a nice strategy based battle simulator set in the Warring States period where you try and unite Japan under your banner. Build up your tiny village into a mighty castle town, recruit a host of historical armies and heroes from ninjas, to battle cavalry and even musket men. Produce products, sell for profit to fund your army, battle and subjugate bandits. So much to do for sure in a single game. Only issue I have is the three tier battle limit where you only got three chances to defeat the enemy army and even if a single troop is left its considered a tie when you have overwhelming superiority. The difficulty spike as you subjugate villages also makes it hard to really have an edge against your foes and require quite a detailed planning to actually win. Lastly, a good game as any to try your hand at the franchise.
