I mean is a idle game. I don't expect to much except that the fact that the last achievement takes so much time that it make me feel like i am never going to get it done once the exp reach a certain level and there is no more buff or bump even it I reset the character. other than that is interesting to get through a level and upgrade all the skill to clear certain stage. I will give it a 3 stars because of the design +1, the game play style +1, affordable +1 -1 for almost meaningless time wasting grind for last achievement. -1 bad growth rate regardless of the adjustment the made previously, the balance still bad for certain class and skills.

Reviews for this game feel undeservedly harsh. Normally, incremental games guarantee progress if you idle long enough, but this game roadblocks the progress through having to perform some very specific things that aren't always obvious and probably wasn't intended by the dev. Trying to experiment with different builds with the different characters is fun but the balancing is so off that the DPS difference between good and bad builds can be completely overwhelming. That said, there is a good amount of content and the feeling of making progress on your character (when you aren't roadblocked), still feels good. Get it on sale.

TL;DR, This game deserves a midling rating, in the short term, it has neat idle elements I've seen nowhere else, but in the long-term, (200+ hour long-term) isn't necessarily worth the time. As for a longer review, I really have to say this game is a decent commitment, I only beat the game slightly after getting all the achivements, meaning a full play time will be around what I have. (give or take me using cheat engine's speedhack for the equipment ranks 29-99) It didn't detract from the gameplay, because at that point, I'd have to have waited 10 times longer to have beaten this, and as I said before, it really isn't worth your time. The character variety is unique, the skills and mechanics work very well together, and the summons have trinkets that are interchangable, even if their own abilitites are actually what you use them for. I like the art, and GENERALLY, the grind isn't actually BAD. Quite simply, the game just needs to get some kind of attention towards the late-game to make the material grind not take longer than a week of running it. I mean, seriously. It's a decent game, really wish I could say it's mid, but instead, I rate it positive because I really just want the devs to do better in their next game. I really hope the gameplay is more than pressing buttons in a UI and sorting out builds. (Especially because it seems to be a motherload-like) If you don't mind having a borderline crypto miner of an idle game on your pc, I'd say go for all achievements on this one, since unlike most, it's not that much of a challenge, just a semi-decent time sink.

Tentatively recommended, with a warning: Don’t bother chasing 100% unless you’re ready to grind for many hours after the game is already finished. This is a smart little incremental with vampire survivors vibes. Hands-off, stat-based, and layered with classes, summons, and passives. Early game? Solid. Pacing feels great, the systems unfold gradually, and there's a real sense of discovery. But once you're deep in, the cracks start showing. “optional” content like bestiary kills or farming old zones for gear upgrades aren’t really optional. They’re mandatory if you actually want to move forward. And while the dev pushes back on the idea that the game lacks depth, the truth is that time equals progress in this genre. So when one build clears faster than anything else, there's no real reason to swap off it. Passives are strong enough to override class identity, summons feel like a side system that further blurs what makes each class distinct, and the whole thing ends up a little too overdesigned. Ascension sounds cool until you realize the branching tree is just a slow unlock for generic stat boosts. No real flavor, just staggered progress. Still, I stuck with it. Not because I was having a blast the whole time, but because I wanted to. There’s a lot to love here. The art is charming, the tone is clean, and the themes of sacrifice and duty actually land. It’s clear a lot of care went into this, and I hope the dev keeps refining what’s here. The bones are good. If I could offer anything, it’s this: trust your own creativity, and trust the player to have fun with it. Don’t be afraid to let people break things. Power fantasy isn’t a balance problem, it’s a reward. Lean into it, and people will stick around not out of sunk cost, but because they’re hooked.

fine idler. cant relate to any of those negative reviews. the game did exactly what i expected a idler to do... farming, unlocking new stuff, hitting walls, rethinking skillsetup or more farming...rinse and repeat there are a lot of upgrading mechanics (stats, equip, skills, pets, bestarium and so on) - totally fine, maybe a bit overwhelming at the beginning but for me it was totally fine and what i paid for. i beat the game in about 40h, the last 9h were for 100% archivments.
