finished in 280 hours, here is my two cents: The Good Overall this is fun idle game especially at the start with good music and graphics and with fun stuff happening on the screen. ➕ good idle game (balance etc.) in early hours / days ➕ I like the fact the stats/skills etc. are modifiable during gameplay so you can experiment when things get tough ➕ great music ➕ has audio-off when game not in focus feature (this should be mandatory for all idle games) ➕ nice graphics ➕I usually don't like prestige systems in most idle games, I enjoyed the ascension here ➕ suprisingly good writing although very verbose and story is meh (but you don't install idle game for the story so who cares) The Bad There unfortunately are some problems ➖unballanced heroes. Some are great, some are actively trying to commit suicide ➖unballanced skills I think. Many of them seem useless, it took me lot of experimentation to arrive at useful combination that helped me to get through difficult stages ➖I think the main stats (STR, DEX,...) are much less important than equipment levels, it feels unbalanced ➖I did not analyze it but it seemed to me that creature wingmans are weak. Although I found one talisman that can be equiped by them essential in later stages. ➖this game is so idle you can hardly help your hero when you are actively playing. Most idle games have a system where active player gains some big advantages. Here you can just stare at the screen (with some exceptions for some heroes) and that is annoying in later stages where there are very difficult levels ➖ cursor bugs and other technical problems - when the game runs (at least on my system) for several hours, the cursor disappears, there are focus problems (as if game is confused and does not know if it has a focus) etc. The Ugly Although the game is fun in the beggining, the more you play the more it gets annoying. To the point I was thinking about giving it thumbs down as in later stages the game turns into suffering simulator mainly thanks to poor design around material rewards and their farming ☠️ extreme grinding in later stages. You just need to let it run for hours and days to get to the end, you cannot help it to go somehow faster. There are 3 achievements that mean just "I did let it run for days in background" ☠️ extremely poor material rewards structure and everything around it. Materials are main currency in the game and equipment levels are super-important but to upgrade especially higher tiers of equipment is damn annoying chore for many reasons ☠️ overall in later stages the game is just trying to get you to let it run for as much time as possible without no reason and no meaningful gameplay

Very fun idle game masquerading as an rpg-like auto-shooter. Don't be fooled by how it looks, this is not an rpg or an auto-shooter, it is an idle game. Your character moves, shoots, and casts abilities on their own, with your only interaction being buying upgrades and MAYBE clicking chests on the ground (the chests don't give much). If you're looking for something to "play" on your other monitor while you do something else, this is a great game for that. It has a lot of depth, but does a good job of introducing new menus and mechanics in a way that prevents them from being overwhelming. It also has a story that took me about 50 hours to get through. The story isn't super substantive, but it's enough to give you short term goals that you're constantly progressing towards. In other words, it's the perfect amount of story for a game like this.

As an idle game, it's pretty good. To explain, since "it's cool" really isn't sufficient: 1) It's got a clear end goal, so you know when it's going to stop. 2) All the blanks are clear, so there are no surprises, though there are challenges. 3) The writing is clear and mostly error-free. 4) The story is actually rather interesting, involving doomed heroism. 5) There are cool characters, and you even get to play as a ratty person and a kobold. ^.^ 6) Transparent mechanics. 7) Brute forcing through the game is viable if you don't want to mess around with min-maxing, but there's rewards for min-maxing as well. The major "con" of the game is that it's quite short for an idle game. Maybe a month or two's worth of fun to be had overall, if you leave it running in the background a lot, three or even four if you're not as efficiency-minded as possible. Not ideal if you want to turn off your computer, which I suppose is another con, but that's fairly normal for a lot of idle games, so not especially unexpected.

Fantastic afk idler game. Some recent reviews mentioned the game being too grindy, but I tried it anyway. 100%'d the game in less than 50 hours, and I always felt like I was progressing. One tip, make sure to go with the 3x option on startup. Players not selecting that option may be the cause of the review issues.

I mean is a idle game. I don't expect to much except that the fact that the last achievement takes so much time that it make me feel like i am never going to get it done once the exp reach a certain level and there is no more buff or bump even it I reset the character. other than that is interesting to get through a level and upgrade all the skill to clear certain stage. I will give it a 3 stars because of the design +1, the game play style +1, affordable +1 -1 for almost meaningless time wasting grind for last achievement. -1 bad growth rate regardless of the adjustment the made previously, the balance still bad for certain class and skills.
