I generally prefer playing through Steam instead of on the browser, so having OpenFront on Steam is a big improvement for me. Game runs much more smoothly than the browser variant It's also a good way to be able to support the developer Having said that, if you're on the fence, just play the browser variant instead! There's no gameplay difference between the two. Only buy this if you want to support the developer
Been playing since early development through the website. The steam app provides more in depth play and controls. Its also smoother than the website and experienced no lage with servers +140 players. But I simply bought it for a couple of bucks to support development as it is a very cool and unique game. Also addicting af. Love to play with friends.
