It's a great game, the guns feel punchy, the artstyle is amazing, the sound effects make me wet and horny, and soundtrack, GOD the soundtrack is good, it feels like someone put Nicotine patches inside my uterus and is finger fucking me while they take effect.

Others aren't overstating it, this really is Hotline Miami gameplay transformed into a rougelike, and just like HM it comes with a kick ass soundtrack too. It's got plenty of weapons to use, and you can even remove some of the weapons from the spawn list and turn the levels into pure pistols, shotguns, etc. if you desire. Clear levels as fast as you can for combo's that boost your coin earnings, and spend those on drinks that give you perks. Story wise you'll have to see for yourself, as it's pretty strange. Overall it's a great ride. If you really like Hotline Miami I'd just go into this blind and play through some of it. You can go through levels within minutes, and you'll have plenty of time to understand what this game is about before your refund window closes.

Excellent iteration on Hotline Miami's base gameplay formula. Tuned towards gunplay, improves on the implementation of doors, works very well with the healthbar, has more intelligent enemy behavior... And the soundtrack is a banger, and the guns are deeply satisfying to use. Don't miss out on this one.

I played this game for 14 hours during which I was dying and dying and dying over and over again to the same bosses. And then, I found the most overpowered drink combination of the ENTIRE GAME. If you mix The One (deflects ennemies bullets by right clicking) and Roadhouse (50% increased splatter chance, which gives you a shitload of more coins), I became more than I ever was. They are human. They die. I used to die too. I used to. I became an unstoppable entity, a God... While deflecting the bullets, you can still kick. So I kicked every single ennemies to death and they couldn't do anything about it but watch. With the increased splatter, I made so much money that I could literally buy any drink I wanted. And so, each time i got out of the bar, my ennemies looked at me with fear, knowing that I was more and more powerful. A guard dog ? Yes. A drone that shoots ennemies and bosses ? Yes. More Health but walk speed reduced ? Yes. Enhanced walk speed ? Yes. Explosive barrels in EVERY SINGLE ROOM ? YES. MY POWER WAS GROWING AS I MOWED DOWN THE MOST HARDCORE LEVELS OF THE GAME IN A MATTER OF SECONDS, SHREDDING THROUGH BOSSES LIKE THEY WERE MADE OF BREAD. I BECAME MORE POWERFUL THAN THE HEART OF THE MANSION. I BECAME THE HEART OF THE MANSION. AND MY ENNEMIES SHALL FEEL DEATH BY MY HAND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AS I RUSH INFINITELY IN THESE ROOMS TO SEEK VENGEANCE FOR MY LOST DAUGHTER. Anyway this game is pretty solid the music is good 10/10.
