Before you buy. THE NEED TO KNOW 1. The game will randomly teleport you back a few steps. 2. you can't change any controls as of this moment including (any sensitivity, flight controls, or button layout) 3. while it is a Third-person shooter you can go in first-person to help with aiming. 4. while there is First-person, the only weapons that aim down sights are snipers, mgs, vehicles, and artillery. (everything else is a relative aim down sights, simulator to fort night) 5. Tanks (in my opinion) are useless super inaccurate, slow, and limited angles even with guns on all sides. 6. Tanks will be come more useless the longer the match goes on for due to the amount of trenches players made. 7. Most kill/deaths are 1-2 shots (so don't expect to be tanking rounds like BF or CoD). 8. Special weapons are class specific EX: MGs, SMGs, Pistols, Snipers, AT-Rifle, AT-launcher, and Semi-auto Rifle. 9. There are a limited number of class for the special class to use the above. Which is usually about 5 but can go up the more players there are. 10. All bullets/launchers have drop and travel time, so no hit-scan. (sorry CoD players) 11. The map updates in Real time that all player, enemies included can see where you make a trench (so good lucky trying to be sneaky, your better off just running and hiding in a bush) 12. There is enemy spotting (Works similar to BF) 13. enemy spotting can but done by looking at them and hitting to assign button to spot, Officer's callin ability "Flare", or with the binoculars/ trench telescope binoculars, 14. Gun shots, foot steps, vehicle movement/engine sounds aren't the best so don't be surprised if someone creeps up on you without you hearing them. They could shoot at you and miss a couple of times without you noticing them. 15. There seems to be no filter for the text chat or Voice chat, so go in expecting it to sound like or read like the old Cod lobbies but turned up a notch with modern problems mixed with the old. ( you can mute players, for pc its L ). 16. You can rank your Character up but it has no correlation to unlocking new gear/guns/cosmetic 17. Unlocking new Gear/Guns/Cosmetics requires Stars which is earned by... well doing anything EX: killing bots/players, digging, building, repairing, reviving, spotting, and so on. (super easy to unlock new items) 18. Hate real player? well you can play single player mode and fill it with bots (just dont expect alot from the bots) 19. There is a Map editor mode so you can make your own maps for the game modes you want to play with friends or bot (I have no friends, just bots) I know this seems like a lot but these are the things I would want to know before I buy a game considering there is no trial for the game atleast not that i have seen. No this list doesnt stop me from enjoying the game either this is more of a heads up before you buy it. Not bad considering the price on it and even better if you get it on sale like i did.
Finally a WW1 game where every player actually matters. You can dig trenches, build defenses, fortify strategic attack positions, be part of a tank crew and even pilot planes. The environment is completely destructible, and everything stays on the battlefield for the entire match: destroyed tanks, crashed planes, explosions holes and dug trenches. It makes the battles feel intense and much more realistic. There are a few small bugs, but nothing too serious. I’m sure the developers will polish everything and improve the game with future updates. 9/10 GAME
