It's fine. By the third ascension difficulty they start making normal enemies stronger, and I was already feeling pretty cramped in terms of what my viable runs would have to look like, so I think I'll tap out here. I got some hours out of it.

I have read some comments about unbalanced runs, getting right skills etc... Well, it is out for 2 days and I have played a substantial amount of hours. Just unlocked the infinity mode. Game is really fun, for once, I find multiple sets that can win the game. And for those who didn't realize, some set are made for end game and some for begin or ramp up your stuff. I hope there will be more release and more sets because I love to find the perfect combo. Definitely a game you will enjoy!

Solid game play loop, felt rewarding to figure out a strategy of which sets to use together. Only downside is I quickly discovered the optimal way to build and what stats were most important, which made it easy to progress through the difficulties. That being said, it is fun to be overpowered and to feel like I "solved" the game. However the same strategy does not work on all character, so the novelty of getting to that point did not wear off, figuring out what works with each character is a new challenge. For its price its definitely worth it, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time playing it. And will likely 100% it because of this.

The RNG on this game is really criminal, you need a good combo in order to make a good run. You need to keep gambling with stuff and forge, meanwhile you get equips you dont need and will probably just delete them from your inventory, meaning all that gambling was for nothing Sounds like hell, i like it.

Pretty fun gameplay loop.Would like to see better UI as far as status effect information displayed without having to buy the weapon or armor to hover over it or open a whole seperate menu and scroll through it. overall pretty fun and the $8
