Patch Quest on Steam - User reviews, Price & Information

Quick menu

In a labyrinth surrounded by vicious monsters, Explorers must rely on their Lasso to survive! Capture and tame ANY monster to leap, glide, surf, tunnel and websling through a treacherous, patchwork maze. This game took longer than I thought but in a good way! I felt pretty engrossed by it. There was never a moment that I felt “ugh, why does it not end yet?” Despite it being rogue-like, there’s also a great sense of progression. Like a metroidvania game, you explore the map over time discovering new areas and monsters. But there’s also a shift in how you approach the game after a certain point like you suddenly realize there’s a goal to achieve and instead of fooling around, you start strategizing each run more. Overall, an amazing game with great art and deep gameplay design. And it does have a local coop option, and I’d be down to play it again tbh. It’s also on sales pretty regularly. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly difficult and engaging bullet hell, with a healthy topping of cute/funny mechanics and cuter monsters. Will probably become boring after a while, given that part of the intended gameplay loop is discovering new stuff, and there's a finite amount of new stuff to discover, but honestly? That's actually kind of a refreshing change in these days of must be marketable, must addict as many people as possible for as long as possible, must keep going even after the game should reasonably stop in order to make MORE MONEY.

It might look childish at first glance, but this game is a lot of fun if the idea of dodging bullets and collecting Pokemon that you can ride sounds good to you. It also plays very well on the Deck.

This game introduced me to the world of indie games, and I LOVE it. No other game will take its place, not even Silksong.

I would particularly recommend this game to Steam Deck owners. It's a great game to just start up and do a quick run with pauses in between if need be. Probably one of my favorite games for the deck.
