Path of Giants is a solid 8/10 puzzle game that ranges in difficulty from easy to medium, with its difficulty only ramping up in the Winterfest bonus section that is unlocked upon completing the main story. I really liked how so long as there was a path available, the 3 critters were always able to go to where I clicked in the most direct route possible. I also liked how the response time from the critters (after being clicked) always felt instantaneous, and the game ran very smoothly. Graphics were good, animations good, but by entering the Winterfest section I had had my fill of the music. The one complaint I have with this game is that while I can understand keeping an area hidden until all the coins are collected, I don't understand penalizing the player by not allowing the coins to count if the player restarts the puzzle. After all, restart means from zero, and since the pots are back to where they were before, why does reclicking them not recollect the coins? If clicking the undo button all the way back to the beginning of the puzzle is essentially the same thing as hitting restart puzzle, then why does the former still allow the coins to count but the latter doesn't? Honestly, I think that the game would have been much better off if it was just an obstacle navigation game with no coins and no rotating puzzle at the end of each level. For me, it was the rotating puzzle game that made the game start to feel tiresome, which for a game where the difficulty level is only easy to medium really shouldn't. If you're a veteran puzzler worried about it possibly not being challenging enough, then maybe wait until this game is on sale. But if you're new to puzzle games or at least new to this kind of puzzle game, then I don't see any problem with getting the game at full price.

Good game. About 1.5 hours to beat the main campaign. None of the puzzles are 'unfair'. The longest I got stumped on one was only a couple minutes. My only complaint is that the animations can be a tad too long.

A superbly cozy and fun level-based puzzle game! It is a little short, but I'd rather have a game that finishes when it's still great rather than keep going and loses it's luster. Enjoyed every second of it, would absolutely recommend!

This is a game of multiple short puzzles that can be completed in 5-10 minutes. Not too easy, but not particularly difficult either. The key to enjoying this is to do the levels one at a time during a small break in your daily routine (great on steam deck). I have seen some complaints that this game gets tedious, but that is only if you try to complete it in 1-2 game sessions. Think of it like a daily crossword puzzle before work. Its a short fun diversion taklng each puzzle seperately, but you would probably not enjoy it if you tried to do 100 crossword puzzles in one day.
