Pinball FX3 Review – My Sanctuary When the World Shut Down Pinball FX3 isn't just a game to me. It’s a lifeline. When the world slammed shut during COVID and real pinball tables sat behind locked doors like forbidden fruit, Pinball FX3 flung its arms open and said, "Come in. Stay awhile. Let's dance." And brother... dance we did. 1634 hours later, and I still feel that spark every time I launch it. FX3 isn't just some "video game version" of pinball — it’s pinball’s beating digital heart. The physics? Slick, brutal, honest. The tables? Art. Pure art. From the classic remakes to the wild originals, each table feels alive under my fingers, just daring me to master it. Every nudge, every clutch save, every impossible multiball — it’s real, raw, and it mattered. It taught me what pinball is — the rhythm, the risk, the high of threading shots and the low of brick city heartbreaks. When the arcades went dark, Pinball FX3 lit up my nights with neon fire and gave me the fuel I needed to not just survive... but to grow into the pinball addict I proudly am today. This wasn’t just a game — it was my bridge. My gateway. My rebellion against isolation. And now, when I stand at a real machine, slamming the flippers and chasing that feeling, I know exactly where the fire started. Pinball FX3, you didn’t just save my love for pinball — you created it. Best pinball simulation game available in my opinion. 100+ hours on steam, and as much on console. I own all but one of the packs they sell. The simulation feels very consistent to me. I absolutely LOVE that you can play some machines that are harder to find nowadays. Favorite is Alien. I hope they are putting more boards in, because I'll keep buying them. I have zero complaints.

If you enjoy "Pinball" then you'll enjoy this game and all it's content available for it. The Dev's are also very nice and constantly updating it's product. You really can't go wrong...what the hell are you waiting for. Join me on Match-up. GLHF

This is not the newest in the series - "Pinball FX" is newer than "Pinball FX 3" because the world is insane and nothing makes sense. But this one is better than the newer one. Much better performance, not-as-bad menus, and the physics feel better. Same tables anyway, but you have to purchase them separatedly for each version.

This game is not the newest of the Pinball FX series, counter intuitively 'Pinball FX' is... so there will be no new games on here, and there has been licences on here that expired meaning the tables have to be removed. Both those facts caused a lot of stir in the virtual pinball community. But I personally do not mind that they built a more modern platform and are only releasing tables on there. This game is fantastic, but if youre just playing pinball, or have a good PC, play Pinball FX. The reason I still have this one installed is 2 fold: 1) I have a ALP Micro that I like to OTG on (basically play PC pinball on a virtual pinball machine) and FX3 runs MUCH better on my older PC. 2) The Aliens tables, and the Bethesda Tables, which arent on FX yet, are INCREDIBLE. Best tables in the whole collection hands down. So this game is still a must for my current situation. Then I enjoy FX on my newer powerful Steam Deck :)
