Game is fun, artist composition is solid, you will recognize most of the artist here if you already play other japanese rgs and it seems like the game want to cater more to the japanese artists side than the home artist first like DJMAX did Rough early access period and publisher drama did set this game back a lot. its up to your judgement to choose whether that you want to trust the dev going forward but i am recommending solely on the music roster at play Only recommend to buy it on sale like every other PCRGs on the market rn
The game is fine. its not perfect but the core gameplay has a lot of charm and uniqueness to it. that being said, the recent controversy... it wasn't a good look man. silently removing songs even ones in the paid dlc without prior notice was an insanely retarded decision. personally, i don't care too much about whatever agendas at play, especially since they rolled the changes back quickly. but pulling a stunt like that seriously ruins player trust in the community... do better next time, devs. communication is literally the bare minimum. you're lucky bambi exists or this review would look a whole lot different
been playing this game for a little while now and i'm surprised how much staying power it has with me considering it's far from the flashiest. there's no big gimmicks or anything super memorable, just a really good song selection, really well put-together charts, and a huge focus on data and fundamentals. an amazing pickup if you're looking for a rhythm game that's simple to pick up but doesn't try to hold your hand also pc specs attached bc i'm seeing negative reviews about framedrops and bugs that i have never had, even with the most recent updates
