A fun experience so far! A few irritants: All employees besides the checkout counter are frustrating. The restocking and rental returns guys don't organize the storage shelves in an intelligent way. They often get stuck because they run out of space, when it is because they don't stack similar items. Restockers don't seem to fill empty shelves, even though there is sufficient stock in the back. Forget making pretty shelves of organized products at this time. It is impossible to do if you have employees. They don't keep things tidy, they'll stock whatever is available in the particular genre. Aside from these little nuances, this is a great game. I can't wait for updates! Review Dated: 3/15/2026

This game is clearly something thats has had a lot of effort put into it and it shows. The graphics and aethestic of the game is very nostalgic of the late 90s. The actual 'simulation' portion of the game needs a little work. Lots of small bugs that can be very annoying, things getting stuck on hotbar but they don't actually exist, Customers getting stuck on each other, The compass is actually crazy lol, never had this much trouble following a compass in a game. Restocking employees essentially just sabotage you if you like things organized, they will stock things based on GENRE and not specific movie type which just makes things a disaster quite quickly. But the game is still fun, and you can tell the Dev put in a ton of work, im hoping those things are fixed up and seriously hoping the restocking behavoir gets a look at.

Tons of fun and a great, unique take on the store sim genre. The art style is something you'd see on late 90s cartoons like Rocko's Modern Life or Doug, I love it so much. Obviously being in EA and in active development there are some bugs and frustrating issues like some of the AI employee behavior but the dev is very active in the forums and is well aware of any customer feedback. Wholeheartedly recommend trying out the demo/buying the game even at this point, it's only getting better from here!

Bowser from destiny makes a lot of great points. Are there issues? Absolutely. I lost my claw machine at least twice while streaming the past couple of days. I crashed a couple of times. I had to solve some weird pathing issues. All that being said, I’ll never be mad about spending $10 on this game, because I got to see how vastly improved it was in just a few weeks from the demo. With that kind of work being done, I know that these issues will be resolved in the coming roadmap patches, and I’ll eagerly await them. Things I’d like to see implemented is possibly a way outside of the repo man to influence the town to eventually be more punctual with returns. Like if I keep beating Tammy Twobeers with a bat, eventually she’s gotta stop having late fees, right?? No? Just more bruises?? Okay, well…sorry, Tammy. All in all, this game is in good hands. I feel like the devs already know a lot that needs work; and they’re listening to the community to find the other stuff. I just know that when Bowser from Destiny does return to this game, they’ll be blown away by how improved it will be.

THIS IS THE KIND OF GAME DEVELOPER I WILL GIVE BLIND LOYALTY TO So happy I stumbled upon the demo for this game just a few days ago, and I played the absolute crap out of it! My wife and I are both 90s kids and we were thrilled to find such a nostalgic-pumped joy ride of a game, especially one that's wrapped up into shop simulator. We love coop shop management games, but none come close to the spirit and character that this game has. This game is a breath of fresh air from all the other dull, copy-paste grocery store and market sims. The only thing I didn't like is when the demo cut us off and I started going through withdrawal, but wouldn't you know it, the official release was only a few days around the corner! I was ecstatic when I found out I had today off work. Now I can play the full game and beat the dang brakes off it as soon as my wife is ready to play. Love the open world and the vibe of this game. I will purchase any game or DLC ya'll release from here on out without giving it a thought. They could abandon this game tomorrow and I wouldn't be mad, because it's already an awesome experience with so much to do, and for a great price. But if I'm right about what I'm picking up from the quality and detail of this game, is that this team is passionate and cares, so I think we're in for some more updates and treats. Bravo! Great job!
