Like many at the time, younger me who was a TF2 fanatic bought this game once I heard there were exclusive items to be won. Years later, I would of gotten this game solely for the core fun and comedy. Many notable characters from a variety of franchises make their debut to win at a simple game of Poker, the shining star of this game is absolutely the interactions these characters all have, making jabs, references, snarky one liners and overall hilarious commentary to what is considered just a simple gambling game. It is a crime this and its sequel, Poker Night at the inventory 2 have been delisted, both are masterpieces and only show with time Telltale had the talent to make memorable and fantastic games.

The poker is just an excuse, of course. This is about casual chatting between four characters you really weren’t expecting to be in a crossover, incongruent art styles and all. They’re all past their peak popularity now, but it’s not for want of potential. To be honest, you don’t need to know what they’re about at all before you start; they’ll let you know. Whatever the reasons, it’s disappointing that the company currently holding the publishing rights to TTG’s old titles has been unable to deliver on its stated intention to bring games like this back to Steam.

While it's still just poker, the banter between the characters is great (if you have the banter level turned up high enough. Closest I've felt to a real poker game. It's just fun to play.

Joguei em 2010 só pra pegar os itens pro tf2 e larguei. 15 anos depois retorno para platinar. Levou mais de 100 horas pra tirar um straight flush. 10/10 recomendo. Lamento que nao seja mais vendido. - Played it back in 2010 just for the TF2 items and dropped it. Came back in 2025 to get all achievements, took over a 100 hours to get a straight flush. 10/10 I recommend. It's a shame its not a Avaliable to purchase anymore.
