Oh Primal Carnage…the potential you have is so immense that it hurts. One of the most generational games out there with a fantastic new look on the classic “deathmatch” game mode. Primal Carnage is probably one of the BEST games when it comes to PvP and in my opinion is top 5 games of all time. (I know, holy glaze). Growing up watching people play this game was amazingly nostalgic ESPECIALLY since I was a Dino fanatic..I can put this game on a pedestal and write a whole book about how special this game is too me…especially since as a kid who loved dinosaurs and loved games, but never had the money nor PC to play it, you’d realize how much this game means to me. Until now, I think primal carnage as a whole has a BUNCH of room to grow.. Stuff like adding new Dino’s or human variants are always good things on the table for this game, but again, I think the team behind this game is quiet small. I don’t think primal carnage has much competition other than like The Isle or Path of titans..but again, those games are just mainly focused on dinosaur life simulator and not Human v. Dino. BUT; The downfall of this game comes mainly on the lack of new updates that adds things in the game…you always have the same rounds over and over again running the same small pool of characters that you choose from both the human side and Dino side…since this games release (2015) it came out with 6 playable dinosaurs and 5 playable humans..now in 2025, it has 10 playable dinosaurs and STILL THE SAME AMOUNT OF HUMANS. The human side of this game has always been getting the short end of the stick when it comes to updates…hence the reason why people enjoy playing the Dino’s…another thing to add is the toxic community…holy the people that play this game ARE NOT NICE MAN 😭…I’m not going to mention some of the stuff I see people talking about in this game dude…but yea. Primal carnage has other problems like the entire shop being littered with micro-transactions and skins being the only thing that comes with each update but this review is WAY to long. Primal carnage is absolutely amazing and has one of the most unique concepts in gaming history.

Playing some matches of Primal Carnage: Extinction here and there brings me tons of joy! This is a damn chaotic experience full of WTF moments, super funny ragdoll physics and very enjoyable gameplay. I still suck at this game, but it's lots of fun regardless. Highly recommended if you need something to cheer you up!
