Beware--this game will suck you in in the most frustrating way possible. It has a ton of Steam glitches, I keep getting endings the wiki says I shouldn't have been able to get, and there's all kinds of sexist bs (is anyone going to explain why my 13 year old being sexually assaulted by a bandit somehow RAISES her sexiness score?) in a way that only a mid-90s game can have. And yet... it is insanely fun. The diversity of endings, challenging scenarios and charming atmosphere all make this game a true sucks-you-in experience. I might not go for every ending, but I definitely sank enough time into the game to warrant the price point. The translation on this version is kind of awful but it's legible, and with some exceptions the wiki is helpful enough that you can pick up on how everything works with some trial and error. Certainly not bad enough to warrant paying twenty extra dollars for Regenerate, unless you can pick it up on sale. Just make sure your daughter gets married to the prince or the dragon. Otherwise you risk getting the secret grooming endings. And no, anti-censorship stans, I don't think their inclusion is a hill we need to die on.

Making my daughter a chef at 10 years old, win cooking festival at 11 years old she becomes the best painter of the entire kingdom and wins art festival Continuosly send my daughter in the desert to exploit the devil and church work. I NEED THAT 800 REFINEMENT. Paying for etiquette class until my daughter has enough manners to talk with the Prime Minister after having read dozens of books to leave a good impression. Win Dance Party. F you Patricia . Killing some bandits, tutoring a spoiled child to farm morality. Win combat tournament over and over again and balance the value of all reputations. My daughter becomes regnant queen. Moral of the story, if ya want to succed in life ya gotta sin ...just a little bit and be helped by the demon of success. Thanks game, I loved it.

Still the best Princess Maker. Still can't get the Lumberjack ending. Refine has 162 achievements rather than ReGeneration's 19.
