Really good combat system. Level design is awesome. Enough variety of gameplay. I highly recommend this game if you're in the mood for a wave combat game.

Played using a Meta Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop. Note: The game feels odd for the Meta Quest controllers, but I'm someone who prefers smooth turning and natural locomotive movement over teleportation. Since there also seems to be no mechanical ability to turn in game, one has to rely on physically moving. If there is a setting to fix this problem, I'd love to be informed about it. - I have finished the first two missions of this title and it hasn't been the worst VR title I've played. A few things that confused me is actually getting the training mission tutorial to start in the main hub area your player starts in and goes to after missions - I have still not completed that Combat tutorial and since I couldn't figure out how to start it, I skipped to doing the first mission and working on the fly from there utilizing in game hints. The game feels very stiff to me, but this is from the inability to turn using the controller. The lack of control over the movement of the character makes the game unnecessarily difficult to maneuver in for myself and if I find a setting to alleviate this issue, I'll update my review when I do find it. - Even with the issue above, I feel this game is still worth having a look at and trying for oneself. There is about five types of foes to fight simply between the first two missions alone - this includes flying drones, robots, explosive robots, robots armed with firearms, and even crippled robots that jump at you to cover distances. These basic enemies make for a solid wave style arcade shooter and it feels like I'm playing a game like Space Pirate Trainer or Robo Recall in a way - granted the game isn't has interactive with what the player can do against the bots, nor is there melee or a change of weapons. There are four 'heroes' the player gets to choose from. One uses handguns with full auto functions as a cooldown ability. Another uses a Shotgun with a Grenade Launcher ability, Another uses a Bow and the last one uses a Katana that can be thrown and retrieved. Alongside these heroes, the player can build defenses - like turrets (I have not tested this, but somehow got the training for this specific tutorial to actually work, I still don't know how it did when the Combat Tutorial just doesn't seem to work for me - but I can be rather dumb sometimes rofl) I have only played as the starting character (The handgun user) and the game-play feels fairly solid in that regard, even with the stiffness in question which makes it hard to dodge and move (At least for myself) I do wish I could utilize both hands on the handgun to better stabilize the firearm in game, but I simply default to holding the controllers "Call of Duty Tactical Knife" style to give me the stability I do want when aiming when I'm unable to have both hands on the firearm. Since I have only played the first two missions, I don't have a crazy amount to add beyond what I have here. I somewhat like the "AI" character who is stuck with you during missions, but I do forget to give the game time to actually let the dialogue banter between "your contact who's hired you" and the "AI" Character. All in all, the experience isn't a bad one and it makes for an okay arcade shooter - but if it had the ability of things from a game like Robo Recall (Able to grab enemies, melee enemies, etc) and if it were possible to mechanically turn and locomotive move - I'd have a lot more fun myself. But for 8.79$ (Canadian) Right at this moment, I'd recommend the game at least to try the title as it does have a solid formula for game-play and a rather interesting setting and idea. I am hoping to play more of the game and learn more as more abilities unlock over time.

I'm a big sci-fi geek, and this game satisfies all of my sci-fi dreams of Ai trying to destroy humanity! the Ai bot in the game is hilarious and the plot is not bad at all. Love the variety of characters in the game too as they each have special abilities. Try the game out, it's very fun!

The good: GREAT area defense gameplay. Four characters with very different weapon styles. Two pistols, shotgun, laser katana, and an actually fun bow and arrow. Very fun game. The bad: it's buggy, and seems to have been abandoned by the developers. So what you see is what you get. Even so, it's worth a purchase, I think.
