If you're like me and love racing games that are easy to learn but hard to master then this is it. The rush I feel with this game is the same rush I get when racing on the Road Atlanta track in VR with my direct drive steering wheel. The best way to describe the rush in this game it is that you really feel connected with the RC car. That you can use this connection to really learn a track so you can beat the track by really get every jump and corner just right. The rush you are feeling when flying in the air and know you will land precisely where you need to land to win and that the only reason you land where you land is because you tried and got better is amazing. The cars feel, to me, like what I think a RC car would feel like. I play on a Rog Ally Xbox X and it plays very smooth in ultra settings. I can't tell you anything about graphics because I don't care how things look. Physics and getting in a flow is the only thing I care about. The daily time trials with global leaderboard are also a very nice addition to the game. Gonna try the racing editor soon but for that I need a mouse and keyboard. Made more then 100 track in my Trackmania SUnshine days so I think I am gonna love this. Very pleasantly surprised by this game. I see myself playing this for years to come and even get me a real RC car because of this. One tip: if your car flips over during a jump try to let go of the gas pedal just before you hit the jump.
This is a great RC game, best I've tried by far. Been doing offroad-rc off and on for near 20 years. Racing, backyard tracks, bashing you name it. This is the first time I've had the same feeling in a game. The racing feels great once you get a feel for it and you can practice things like whips without damaging your car. Runs great on the steam deck too and is a great game to chill and run some laps of you favorite track. As long as this stays in development I'm excited for its future. For now its great for running laps, playing community tracks, and building your own track or replicating a local one. Would love car tuning (Camber, caster, toe, esc settings, diff, suspension preload, compression/rebound) and servo/motor choices. Just to add more variety to the cars since the choices are limited right now. Looking forward to more, I hope we get more content even if what we have is replayable as hell.
