This game truly has some the best FFB out there, doesnt really overload with you with as much detail as possible like its sequel, AMS2, but the accuracy in how it delivers it is far superior than AMS2, correcting the car feels so satisfying in this game, because of instant and accurate the FFB delivers the information for you. Car sounds surprisingly awesome, much better than AMS2, with better mix and aggressive sounds. AMS2 sounds a bit muted compared to this, if you like getting deaf hearing a 6 liter 650hp crate V8 engine roar on your onboard, this game is good for that. Theres a few downsides, the lack of content, archaic UI, and broken mods situation, due to its age as a game. Some mods dont work well with a DD wheel like my Moza R3, problems such as wrong/distorted steering lock, oversensitive brake detection, some car mods also have a problem where it bugs out and pulls and locks your steering wheel all the way to the left.
Good physics, steering requires a little adjustment, I set 360 degrees for myself (Logitech steering wheel and pedals). Brakes seem to be a bit of a problem in most simulators, here you have to pedal them with force^^. I especially liked the Formula V10 cars and the others are pretty nice too. Special tracks, a few classics Oulton park, Snetterton, South African GP 1976 - I think there should be more classic tracks. The game ran pretty well although it did crash once. Worth a try!
This is basically OG rFactor 1 reborn, I did probably recommend this over rfactor since it already has a ton of cars and custom championship built in for you, aka their mini career mode wheras for rfactor 1, there needs to be more "hands on" approach to get mods to get things going
