If you want to see my view on the franchise - you're welcome to read my review of the first part here: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198014150309/recommended/415610?snr=1_5_9__402 Compared to the first one, this part is much shorter. But has much more 1990s pop culture references that would be familiar to the western audiences (terminator, duke nukem, 5th element, etc.) Technically this installment is somewhat better, as I did not encounter any major bugs here. And there are less locations - so less backtracking (making the game even shorter). I personally found the game as funny as the first one (despite the claims of some of the reviews). And would recommend it to any fan of the original games, anyone born in the USSR, or anyone who liked the 1st installment.

Great sequel to the first Red Comrades. It's a lot shorter and straightforward than the first, but equally enjoyable. If you wanted more of the same, you'll like it for sure.

Very funny adventure game. Much shorter and easier than the first - the achievements are easier too. The characters move more quickly than the first game, which is good.

Summary: A fun point 'n click game filled to the brim with adult jokes. You can complete it in 4 hours. Definitely recommended for the low price! The good: + Again, a good port to modern systems. Steam overlay works fine, so do the achievements. + Decent English translation. Some minor errors, but nothing serious. + Almost bug free. I encountered nothing gamebreaking. There were some minor bugs that will probably get patched within the week. + Good story, good adult-themed jokes + Graphical style is retro, but still passable. Like in the first game, there are some weird characters in a completely different style though. The bad: Most of these are the same as for the first game: - Sometimes long delays after certain voice lines - 3 GB on your disk, but that's Unity for you I guess - There's still no real tutorials, game is pretty intuitive though. The hints have improved over the first game's hints. - Game is way shorter than the first game and will leave you asking "wait, that was it?" after it ends.
