Well, it's a pretty solid puzzler. Not quite as good as the top tier games (hush, we want a part 3 of both), but still captivating and engaging. - Story: Okay. But let's be honest, nobody plays a puzzler for the story (TP1 is my personal exception) - Mechanics: Not re-inventing the wheel here, but differs enough to distinguish itself a bit - Voice acting: Sometimes my ears did hurt a little. Maybe too much of an accent here and there, I don't know. Just felt off occasionally - Graphics: The landscapes in the biomes are nice, but the lab/quarters are kinda bleak. - Sound: Mostly background noise, effects and voice. Suits me just fine. Overall rating: 7/10 (Yeah, I really like it)

The gameplay is good - lots of varied puzzles and interesting mechanics - but the story is chock-full of misandry, curse words, bad writing, meaningless dialogs and pointless cutscenes. My recommendation is to skip all cutscenes and mute voices, then this game actually becomes enjoyable.

Puzzles are in the style of Portal and The Talos Principle. There is an attempt at a story which would have been better without the unjustified cursing - it feels like they just threw-in swear words randomly into the conversation. The game starts off well, but come mid-game the auto-saves are not frequent enough, thus a small error would mean having to re-do several complex sequences. I don't have that kind of patience and couldn't be bothered after that, but having bought it at a discount for £1.77 I still recommend it as good value.

It's a decent puzzle game. A little fiddly and unpolished like Talos 1. Towards the later levels, puzzle mechanisms can often be bypassed or solved in unintended ways. Some puzzles require too much timing and dexterity to be enjoyable. In particular is Sverdrup Beach Puzzle 5 (around halfway through), which is when I decided I would solve the remaining puzzles in the game by any means necessary rather than solely intended solutions.
