Within minutes of firing up this game my computer turned into a Blaupunkt stereo, I was wearing a flowered Hawaiian shirt, and my keyboard had turned into a pile of cocaine. The walls became vectored. I found myself getting lost in the endless landscape of sunsets cities. Minutes turned into days and then back into seconds. As I weaved endlessly through traffic while doing a line off a hooker's ass I realized that I had in fact hit the peak 80's experience. Where was I going with this? Oh right, this game is a ton of fun and incredibly simple. There's no much in the way of goals but if you're someone who enjoys the core mechanic and doesn't need much else it's well worth the cost.

There’s not much to it, but it has an amazing soundtrack, great visuals, and a nice selection of cool cars to choose from. I love hopping on this game when all I wanna do is listen to music and zone out. It reminds me of playing Sega’s OutRun at this old steakhouse we used to go to when I was a kid that randomly had a little arcade in the corner. I played it every time we went. Really nostalgic.

Obviously, this is not just a racing game, but also a cultural symbol. As a vaporwave enthusiast, I also love the retrowave, and this game combines racing culture with the retrowave very well. There are not many representative racing cars inside, such as Tesla's Cyber car and Nissan's GTR. In short, when playing this game, we are not just playing the game, but enjoying the influence of the retrowave culture.

Sometimes I like to play this and just think. About things. It's a perfect background noise; Chill, surprisingly entertaining but still unobtrusive. It's also a good choice for those lazy days when you sorta just don't feel like playing anything. If you're even remotely interested, then by all means give it a try!
