Really great breach/clear/collect and extract style game. Lots of style and action. You follow a Rogue-like path and have a limited time to complete the "Case". You can backtrack some if you want to but better to keep moving forward to make sure you complete the case in time. Do not bother with the Breakout DLC unless you really want it or if it's on sale. It just adds a jail survival level. This game is basically the "This is the FBI" Meme in game form.hehe Shame the game is so underrated as it is a super fun time particularly in co-op. Would love to see a proper sequel to RICO at some point or another company pick up the mantle and do a game in a similar style as I really enjoy kicking in doors in slo-mo and taking dudes out and then gathering items and then extracting. It's a really satisfying game loop. My one complaint would be the time bombs you have to disarm. Sometimes there are just too many of them and you never know where they will be. If a sequel or similar game was ever made, just leave out the time bombs. I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of shooters and action movies. Solid 8/10.

RICO delivers a solid dose of adrenaline-pumping action with its unique take on the first-person shooter genre, Just think the breaching sections from the Call Of Duty series but as a whole game. Busting down doors in slow motion and taking out enemies with precision is incredibly satisfying, and the cooperative game-play adds a fun dynamic if you’re playing with a friend. However, the game’s initial thrill starts to wear off as you progress through the game. The missions quickly become repetitive, and the lack of variety in enemies, environments, and objectives leaves something to be desired. It’s a game that screams for more content—new maps, mission types, or even just a broader selection of weapons and enemy types would go a long way in keeping things fresh. Performance issues also tend crop up, with occasional frame drops and stutters that can disrupt the flow of game-play. While not game-breaking, these hiccups are noticeable enough to be a little frustrating because the game isn't exactly Red Dead Redemption 2 levels of visual fidelity, especially in a game where speed and fluidity are key as I believe the enemies are hit scanning so you WILL get hit even while in slow-motion. Despite its shortcomings, I oddly enough find myself returning to RICO for a quick fix of door-busting action. It’s a fun game to dive into for a few missions at a time, but it’s hard to justify the full price given the limited content and technical issues. My advice? Wait for a sale I'd say if it reaches $10 or below its worth it but the current price is a bit much. Like many people on steam, I wish Valve would add a mixed review option because this game fits that criteria perfectly but I do recommend it on sale. Rating: 5/10

Great game! you abuse doors so many times lmfao, basically a door abuse simulator. It's sad that online co-op is not working, Idk if they shut down the servers or no one is playing. If you want to play online forget it, if you want to go solo just buy it. Rico 8/10 Heisen

Ever wondered what Call of Duty breaching slow-mo game would play like? Well look no further, Rico is exactly that. Gunplay is okay, weapon selection is limited, especially as most of the available weapons are simply useless when you get a better gun in the category and difficulty seems all over the place, online COOP and dailies no longer seem to work(for some reason they had private servers running instead of using P2P provided by Steamworks?) but couch COOP is still a possibility. The loop soon becomes tiring and there's not enough variation to warrant a long enough play time for the full asking price, only recommend at a heavy discount.

Biggest grief: Gopniks not wearing any flat hat... not realistic. It's got timers. Nonetheless, kaboom, your full progress is over. It's roguelite. It's not really suited for playing with a controller even if supported. You'd quickly feel it. Too much precision required, the kind you obtain with a mouse. Running to slide in a room doesn't work well. A key to directly slide would have been enough. Other games of that type do better than this one. It can be fun though for a couple of hours. Not really expecting to finish it. Got it for $2. It's ok. Full price, thumbs would have been down definitely. It's still not really up by the way.
