10 years later it is still good value for its Sale price (not the regular price). It is a difficult game, at the easiest difficulty level without automatic breaks I faced great adversity not finishing last. The gameplay experience is pleasant. The game never crashed, there is negligible lagging and it provides stable FPS. The game's graphics are very good except when a human being is in focus (Humans look like potatoes with eyes and nose). Since it has multiple sequels available at very low price on Sale hence I recommend skipping it and playing Ride 3 and later sequels for better graphics.
Highly recommended for motorcycle enthusiasts. I just started a personal challenge to complete every single game in the franchise, from this very first RIDE all the way to RIDE 6!👍 Pros:Massive garage: Hundreds of real bikes from top brands like Ducati, Yamaha, and Honda.Great handling: Physics strike a perfect balance between arcade fun and realistic simulation.Deep customization: Lots of options to upgrade bike parts and pilot gear.👎 Cons:Brutal loading times: Waiting between races feels incredibly long.Dead atmosphere: Graphics look outdated, and tracks feel empty and lifeless.Inconsistent audio: Some engines sound fantastic, while others feel artificial.Verdict: A solid foundation for a great racing franchise.
