Rooftops & Alleys isn’t a flashy blockbuster—it’s a game made by a passionate solo developer that dares to do something most modern games won’t: put full control in your hands. No auto-parkour, no on-rails movement. Every wall run, vault, and twist is yours to perform, mess up, and master. The result? A game that feels tough at first, but incredibly rewarding once it clicks. If you’re coming from Mirror’s Edge, Dying Light, or Assassin’s Creed, prepare for an adjustment. Rooftops & Alleys strips away all the parkour automation and leaves you with pure, physics-based control. Every movement is built from scratch: you control the momentum, angle, timing, and flow. It’s more like a skateboarding sim (Skater XL, Session) than an action-adventure. You’ll fall. You’ll stumble. But when you nail your first vault-to-wallrun-to-front-flip combo across a narrow rooftop gap? It feels like magic. The urban environments are stylized but packed with creative level design. Rooftops, scaffolding, narrow alleys, and plazas form your open playground. There’s no “win condition”—just explore, trick, and express yourself. Multiplayer adds life to the world, letting you link up with others in tag, freestyle sessions, or just showing off your latest lines. Let’s be clear: this game has no hand-holding. The tutorial is minimal, and the controls can feel overwhelming at first. But that’s part of the philosophy. Rooftops & Alleys trusts you to learn through practice, repetition, and experimentation. And once you do? You’ll feel more connected to your movement than in any other parkour game. Visually, the game leans into a clean, slightly stylized look. Don’t expect ultra-realistic graphics—it’s more about clarity and flow than visual fidelity. That said, the lighting and movement animations are excellent, and watching yourself move through the world is deeply satisfying. Sound design is minimal but effective. Footsteps, wind rushes, and distant city ambience sell the immersion. Music is optional—but this game feels best with your own playlist in the background. The Highlights: -Skill-based freedom. You’re not just holding forward; you’re planning every move. -Trick system. You can combine vaults, flips, wall tricks, and dives into custom combos. -Multiplayer. Casual modes like tag and co-op exploration are fun and chill. -Replayability. With no strict objectives, it’s a canvas for creativity and flow. The Frustrations: -Steep learning curve. Some players may bounce off in the first hour. -Sparse tutorials. YouTube or community guides are almost required. -Occasional jank. As an indie game, expect a few bugs and quirks (especially on console). -Limited progression. It’s more of a sandbox than a goal-driven experience. Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game is a love letter to the art of movement. It won’t be for everyone—but for players who love mastering mechanics, exploring open spaces, and expressing creativity through control, it’s a sleeper hit. Whether you're trying to hit the cleanest kong vault into a dive roll or just enjoying rooftop sunsets, there's something deeply satisfying here. “Parkour without the training wheels.” Rating: 9/10

The game is amazing and well worth the price. I've been stuck on it for the past 4 hours, a game mode where you're being chased by the police would be amazing!!!!

A suggestion for the Dev, look into tony hawk pro skater... maybe create a 1.5 build where you add a campaign with similar objectives to tony hawk games, find missing tapes, score x combo, find and hit x gap.... solo play is overwhelmingly boring. I know its a single dev game but... yeah
