I hunted this game on sale for months because the full price is too steep. If you see it for $25 or less, grab it! Otherwise, $60 is a ridiculous price for what it offers. The gameplay is fun, with easy controls and no complicated puzzles. A great game to relax with in the evening. Most levels are a breeze, only 5-6 levels in the endgame are truly challenging. You normally get 5 lives per level, but there’s an option to turn on infinite lives and be as clumsy as you’d like. :) For character customization, there are hundreds of outfit options — nothing paid, only free DLC and in-game currency — and dozens of emotes. The main campaign has 50-55 levels, plus about 20 extra timed challenges and maybe a dozen co-op levels. Everything except the co-op levels can be played solo, but to experience the game to the fullest, you’ll need at least one more player (online or offline). Co-op levels won’t even launch if you’re alone. These levels are actually quite fun and require actual cooperation. It’s best to have a buddy or find someone on Steam to play with since the in-game multiplayer can be tricky. There aren’t too many players, and while most are fine, some are clueless or even try to ruin your game (thankfully, they’re rare). There might also be issues with connectivity and lag. For example, I had one funny case when I joined a game and saw three enemies instead of one, it was absolutely unplayable. In general, small lags are tolerable, except in a few pursuit levels where the camera moves automatically, and your character might be dead before you know it. But if you’re lucky to get a smooth online match, it’s a great experience too.

Sackboy™: A Big Adventure is Little Big Planet reimagined into an amusing platformer with pure co-op fun. Sackboy™: A Big Adventure is a title that seeks to reimagine Sackboy in a platformer. The game draws on nostalgia while introducing fresh new ways to enjoy our beloved sack-thing. It is fun to see this charming character take on a new life, now available to PC players, in a way that is reminiscent of the heights of Little Big Planet 2, while in my opinion taking on a much more stable, fun and enjoyable life than Little Big Planet 3. The atmosphere of the game is bizarre, beautiful and has the old-school charisma of titles past. The music complements the game beautifully, surprising you with well-known hits like Uptown Funk and Toxic, while having lovely original tracks and renditions of other hits remixed to fit the vibe of the game. It is different to Little Big Planet, and those wanting a recreation of the magic that came with the original titles will find it here even if it is not wholly the same. It is very, very fun to play with friends. It is stable enough, with only a few lag issues that were negligible in my opinion. It doesn't reach the same heights as Little Big Planet 2 but it surpasses its successor entirely. I love the direction the new team took with this title and I did not expect to. I think it is worth its sale price, not the full one. The length of the game in my opinion is one of the drawbacks, but also a plus in some ways. It is short, sweet and for a discount I think you get your fill's worth of Sackboy.

The game, in co-op, periodically lags, sometimes the game crashes.... but, I still recommend it, if you want to have a good time with a friend, then this is simply a "must have" game. Character customization is available, the levels seem not difficult (of course, if you try to pass "without deaths", then your ass will burn) . Especially liked the levels that are accompanied by popular songs and everything moves to the beat of the music ~(˘▽˘)~ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3401576415

As Sackboy, embark on a journey where you are introduced to a whimsical universe where every corner is bursting with color and life. The game sets the stage for an exciting and imaginative adventure that promises hours of entertainment. The story of Sackboy: A Big Adventure centers around the titular character, Sackboy, on a quest to save his world from impending doom. The narrative, while not groundbreaking, is filled with heartwarming moments and engaging characters that add depth to the overall experience. It’s a tale that is simple yet effective, providing enough motivation to keep players invested in their journey. Gameplay in Sackboy: A Big Adventure is both varied and entertaining, with numerous mechanics that keep things fresh. Players will find themselves navigating through cleverly designed levels, solving puzzles, and engaging in platforming challenges. Despite the initial excitement, the game’s worlds begin to feel repetitive over time. Levels could benefit from being longer and more detailed, rather than numerous but with less content. Visually, Sackboy: A Big Adventure excels with its stunning and imaginative design. Each level is a visual treat, packed with intricate details and vibrant colors that bring the world to life. The amazing music complements the visuals perfectly, creating an immersive atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. However, the lack of variation across different worlds detracts from the game's potential to be truly spectacular. Overall, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a delightful game with varied gameplay, amazing music, and great level design. While it falls short in terms of world variation and could benefit from longer, more content-rich levels, it still provides a fun and engaging experience for players. The charm and creativity of the game make it a worthwhile adventure, even if it doesn't fully reach its potential. Sackboy: A Big Adventure gets a 7/10.
